Short walk into town. Market a few doors up the street. Well traveled area making walking feel safe later in the evening.
Parking was challenging even with the lot across the street which we did not use after reading other user reviews. We did find much cheaper parking 10 minutes away in someone’s driveway for the three days we visited using the Justpark app.

Location great - 7 mins walk from York Station
Close enough to walk to city centre (10-15 mins)
Nice quiet street but short walk to coffess shops, supermarket and easy fast food

Was nice if your having a short stay or if you are a couple.
Was hard with kids as a lot of stuff breakable / knives in place we didn’t know. Lots of stains everywhere. Ironing board falling apart. Couldn’t use sofa bed. Didn’t have a part to fill the hole?
