Very nice and well appointed apartment in a great location

My son reported that the sofa bed wasn't that comfy (although it seemed ok to me). Only very minor gripe was that the bedside lamp on one side had been unplugged in favour of the router. A minor inconvenience but easily solved via a multiplug

Was nice as we didn’t stay much during the day only stayed at night. Left a day early but was nice.

Was nice if your having a short stay or if you are a couple.

Was hard with kids as a lot of stuff breakable / knives in place we didn’t know. Lots of stains everywhere. Ironing board falling apart. Couldn’t use sofa bed. Didn’t have a part to fill the hole?

⸻ I had an amazing stay at this apartment! Everything was exceptionally clean, and the space felt fresh and well-maintained from the moment I arrived. The facilities were excellent—everything I needed was available and in perfect working condition. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt, making the entire experience stress-free. The location was superb as well, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Overall, a fantastic place to stay—highly recommended!

Having stayed in many apartments on York , this was my least favourite due to the noise and distance out of town.

The place was very clean and warm. Plenty of towels and a fully equipped kitchen .

The property is directly under a club. The thumping music went on until 2am as did the continuous flow of people leaving. Very noisy . Also parking was very expensive.

Beware the smell of drains

Good location, easy instructions to get there

Awful smell of drains as soon as you walk in that doesn't go. Was throughout the flat, mainly in the hall and bathroom, could smell it all night. We could handle the noise that comes through the ceiling, plus the lack of bedside lamps but the smell was horrendous

Disappointing

Got the key easily. The apartments are in a great.location and an easy walk to the attractions.

1, the nightclub next door playing loud music to the early hours of the morning. (I finally fell asleep after 2am) 2, the hosts didn't get back to me or answer the phones when I called. 3, the parking across the road only allowed 24hours. So we had to move the car to another car park in the middle of our stay.

we were asked our ages and given that the oldest was 81 and youngest 67, we would have preferred a downstairs apartment, while the apartment given was fantastic, it was over two floors, with a steep climb of stairs and it proved to be tiring given that we also had to carry our cases up. The kitchen/living area was wonderful, but toilets were a floor down from this. We would stay again, as the situation from the town centre could not have been better, but oh! the stairs!!

Lovely apartments

Lovely apartments. Really friendly host. We loved the location as it was super close to all of our planned activities. The beds were comfy and the living space was really lovely. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the proximity to York city centre.

The community centre had events during both nights we were there which were really loud, and also meant that people were on the front of the property talking quite loudly into the small hours of the morning. It wasn't a huge issue but I'd definitely check what's going on there before booking again.

I found the experience exhausting. We didn’t leave well rested. Didn’t feel safe in the location.

Clean apart from pillowcases. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels. Nice modern decor

Location, very noisy with community centre located underneath. We were woken at 4am with shouting swearing and car horns beeping. Pillowcases had mould patches on them. TVs glitchy. 1 bedroom apartment is better suited to a couple. Sofabed isn’t really suitable for two and was uncomfortable.

Loved the location, cleanliness and the admin staff were extremely helpful.

Everything was really good, a well set out apartment. Only a couple of negatives, the main bed and sofa bed were extremely firm and if staying for more than one night the sofa is not very comfortable for watching the tv or just chilling out.

Well located, spotless and great place to stay for four friends

Really lovely place, well located, great comms to make it an easy stay. We were a group of four friends, spending the weekend in York, and we wanted to eat in, so the well-equipped kitchen and dining table were brilliant. Comfy beds and spotless, thank you

The sofa bed acted as a sofa in the living room (and was comfy). I guess if we’d been looking to chill longer, it would benefit from another sofa, but we sat on the lounge chairs/dining room chairs so that was fine. Take an eye mask as the blinds let in some light, but that’s all perfectly normal. A great apartment

This could be our most satisfied accommodation for our trip of 4 cities in UK. Apartment is clean, well designed and tastefully decorated. Smell of new paint to tell it had just been renovated. Staff were friendly and courteous when enquiries were made.

Great weekend, great location, handy parking, go upstairs if you have small kids/pushchairs

Good room sizes, up to date decor, tvs in both sleeping areas is nice. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen and the bathroom. Shower is brilliant.

You need to be careful on the stairs going down and we weren’t aware there was a community centre right next door so on an evening we came out to big groups of people blocking our stairs smoking.

Lovely place to stay

The apartment is in a fabulous location not far from the train station. There were ample facilities right outside the door, such as Sainsbury's, Subway, a small local café and a KFC over the road. The apartment was lovely and clean and bright and airy. There was ample supplies of cups/glasses etc and the bed was super comfy. It is only a short walk into the main city centre.
