It was central to the city and rail station.
Quite noisy first thing in the morning with glass emptying from the Pub behind and the white containers on the ground (however we do realise that both these things are out of your control). It was ok for the days we were there.

Perfect location for us as we were travelling by train. Amenities - shops, restaurants, city sights etc. all within easy walking distance. A small problem (of our own making!) at the start of our stay was quickly resolved with a phone call to the very helpful host.
We arrived in a heatwave, and we found the apartment a bit too warm especially at night. Having the balcony was a welcome bonus, but the noise from the industrial heat pumps outside the building was quite noisy during the day.
