Very comfortable and clean with lots of extras from blankets to books to games to washer dryer and dishwasher!

Location was excellent. Really nice house and clean with all facilities that you could want. Staff/owners all helpful. Beds were very comfortable.

The extractor fan didn’t work in the en-suite. The shower was very poor in the en-suite and difficult to use. Water pressure was low. It was a little noisy at the front (understandable as it was opposite a pub)

Lovely flat, great location, thoughtful touches

Parking in York. We found a car park nearby £25 per 24 hrs and the train station is under a 5 minute walk away. Note: a refundable damage deposit is payable in order to get entry details. An extra hurdle but worth it for flat and location.

We totally enjoyed the apartment, the convenience,and the neighborhood.

Apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything went as planned and we loved York and the easy access to the train station to visit other cities in close proximity. Lots of restaurants nearby. Great location to catch the Hop on Hop off to access all the historical sites.

Th apartment was across the street from a pub so we could not have the windows open in the evening as we would have liked. There was a strange smell from the upstairs bathroom. I have mentioned this the property owner and they have advised me they are having it looked into.

Clean and tidy house with just a short walk to the city centre.

Short walk to the centre and city wall. Ideal for exploring York. Lots of places nearby to eat out. Would book again.

More coat hangers would be nice, only 5 in each room. The shower over the bath could not be adjusted it was always very hot or very cold with the smallest movement of the temperature dial.

Great location, just 10 minutes walk from the rail station and an easy walk into the centre of the city. Clean and well equipped, comfortable beds and 2 modern bathrooms.

It was cold, (this was April) and guests do not have the facility to increase the temperature. The information provided said it would be 22 degrees in the day and 18 at night - this is the same as my settings at home, but the apartment was nowhere near this in reality. I should have contacted the management at the time, but due to a busy schedule didn’t do so. A pity as it spoiled what would otherwise have been a great stay.

Perfect spot

We booked for a tourist style weekend, and this was a perfect base to come and go as we pleased. Four adults very comfortable and lovely areas to relax and chat while planning the days events. Clean, quiet and a home from home. ( well, actually better )

Toaster, had to use it twice to get bread brown. Sofa bed uncomfortable, even with a mattress topper. Not enough hand towels. Only given one for each bathroom. 1 bath sheet given for each person but needed more hand towels for washing hair. No board games or card games, books about York : would have been nice.

Great location idea for a girls weekend!

Nice property but way Too much paperwork, I thought booking online would be easy but then got bombarded with emails regarding £250 security deposit, and lots of documents to digitally sign.

The most ridiculous experience ever!

Terrible horrible unbelievable experience!! For the start,the house is facing a CONSTRUCTION site but no one ever contacted us to help keep us updated of what is going on in the neighborhood. The next day we woke up to the horrible noise!! Speaking of contacts, the company was the most difficult to keep in touch with. Slowest respond we have ever experienced! The "office" hour is 9to5, but you still get only the AUTOMATIC reply within these hour! The service was ridiculously slow and unfriendly. Oh and how can we forget the most "wonderful" experience of the day! The next evening at 8pm the water supply of the whole house STOPPED without a single sign or a notice to let us know what was going on!! We contacted the company, but it was off the time so of course we only received the automatic respond! Then the mechanic came but couldn't even find the water pump or storage of the house! Then someone finally received our call and asked us to MOVE to another property late in that evening! "The best part" of this mess of a day was when we finally reached the new house, there were NO KEYS in the key box! And the solution to that? We had to take our luggages to MOVE to ANOTHER place!! How "wonderful" and "pleasant" that must be!! How we have "enjoyed" the house and the service!!

This is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in with the family. Absolutely beautiful, perfect location and the owners were so simple to deal with. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit York. 5 Stars

Location spot on. Good choice of bars and restaurants a stone's throw away. Close to Minster, Shambles etc. Train/bus station also very close so good transport links Very well equipped kitchen Communal areas very clean

Rooms at the front of the building are quite noisy, but to be expected due to the town location No hanging hooks or long storage space in lounge (necessary if being used as an additional sleeping space with bed settee) Quilt in principal bedroom needs laundering (stained) Some pillow protectors (see ones in lounge) need laundering, again stained

generally a comfortable work stay but a few things could do with improving

the location was great and the overall decor of the flat was stylist and it was well equipped.

the key situation was less than ideal as we were staying in York for work. Just having one key with this type of lock was inconvenient (mortise lock with no way of posting the keys back). The upstairs bedrooms were a little too cold to be comfortable and there didn’t seem to be a way to boost the heating. Bathrooms could also have been cleaned more thoroughly!

The whole experience was excellent.

The house was delightful, and it had Christmas decorations up. It was nice at the end of a busy day to be able to come home, make a cup of tea and relax on the sofa.

My daughter tells me the toilet seat in the shower room needs attention. Also I had a heavy suitcase which I had to leave downstairs.
