It was quiet. It was in a good location for accessing the city on foot. Parking was easy. It was beautifully decorated.

The bathroom isn't great. There is no toothbrush holder, no towel rail, no ring for a hand towel, and the shower doesn't drain very well. The shower temperature can be intermittent.

Unable to allow use of parking permit ahead of check in even when it is not in use. No bin bags and hand soap provided.

The Kyme St house was perfect for our family group. Great sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well appointed. Loved the bonus of the outside patio. Zuzanna was super responsive (we needed help with the parking) and also replacing a cooling fan - our visit was during a heatwave! The welcome gift bag of Yorkshire goodies was fabulous - thank you so much. The house itself is within the wall, and we could walk to everything we wanted to see and do in York.

The property was comfortable and very good, clean in most places. Location was ideal. Parking on street would have been great if we had been provided with a permit. I booked this property because it had parking. The permit was taken by previous occupants. We were offered payment for council parking which was not acceptable did STAYS YORK care, NO. Their communication was appalling, I had to constantly contact them. Do Not Book Stays York Accommodation they will not support you, they just want your money. Oh and they were keen to keep reminding you not to use Booking .com if you return with them.
