Aspire - 2 bed, parking, 3 minute walk to minster

Great location for visiting York. Free indoor car parking. Nice space and appreciated the fact that there was ample cutlery, towels and other essentials. Instructions were clear and the property is very secure.

A few niggles: The lift wasn’t working for most of the week, the freezer needed defrosting and it is on a noisy corner (late at night) which is mainly only an issue on a weekend and if your windows are open. The dining room / lounge was smaller than it looked in the photos. But these issues did not detract from the overall experience.

Traveling with another couple, this apartment served our purposes very well superior location (if noisy on a busy street at time) - two smallish bedrooms and two bathrooms with a workable galley kitchen, sitting area, and dining table. The bank of windows allowed for light - but we were thankful for the window shades as well. The building felt very secure with exterior key entry and interior door key entry. Items such as wine glasses, simple kitchenware, kettle, etc. were helpful. Location was excellent near Bootham Bar (gate to the stone walls, Minster, and other sites. Sainsbury directly below was convenient though the 6:30 a.m. delivery trucks were disruptive to back bedroom. White Horse Pub had excellent food (great wraps) and just across the street.

Overall, no major concerns but attention needed for small concerns - missing hairdryer, frozen freezer area, exterior light over front door out - would be helpful.
