Excellent location and communication from Stays York, nice flat with a lot of character and plenty space.

One of the beds was very 'wobbly' and there was a thick layer of dust under the pull out bed but overall would reccomend and would stay again.

The location was fantastic, bang in the middle of the town, yet very quiet, traffic was almost zero, just a handful of delivery vehicles. There was no need for the use of taxis or bus transport as everything was on the doorstep. On arrival there was a bag with good quality tea and coffee. The apartment was warm, a good working TV, fridge freezer etc, all good and fairly new. The small restaurant directly below was lovely and we heard no noise from it at all, the food and wine selection was excellent. If you wanted a breakfast then there's a nice cafe directly opposite the apartment, there are a few pubs in the street, but we heard nothing at all from them, so it really is a fantastic location.

The faults.. Decor, the whole place needs a lick of paint, I doubt it has been done in the last 20 years and is peeling off the walls in many areas. It could also do with getting a company into clean the couch and carpets, this is job that most companies could now do in a day. But don't let my comment put you off, as I would certainly rent this apartment again.

The location is perfect. The bedrooms are decorated beautifully. The lounge area is ideal for relaxing after a day of shopping and sightseeing.

The property does need a lick of paint, especially in the hall way and the stairs leading into the property. There are also three flights of stairs to the bedrooms, which was fine for us, but might be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

The location was amazing and the saving grace on the overall experience. The massive couch was also a bonus with the family relaxing, though I worried about how clean it actually was.

It’s extremely tired, mattresses uncomfortable, dirty, dusty. The shower had no explanation on how to use it properly and my first shower had me being scalded then blasted with ice water every 30 seconds. Thankfully my husband worked out the sharpie markings on it!
