Das Haus ist ungemütlich und authentisch und mitten in New York trotzdem ruhig. Wir hatten eine ganz schöne Zeit und haben es total genossen, so zentral zu wohnen.

Emplacement très central dans la ville médiévale de York, face à la cathédrale. Appartement sur deux étages, comme une mini-maison, avec chambres à l'étage. Du charme.
Plomberie et salle de bains un peu vétuste, qui mériterait une rénovation. En été, il peut faire assez chaud, car les fenêtres n'isolent pas parfaitement de la chaleur extérieure.

Emplacement imbattable en plein centre ville et en face du Minster avec vue exceptionnelle!! Super facile d'accès, cela permet de pouvoir entrer et sortir à sa guise durant le séjour.
L'appartement est chaleureux et confortable, les chambres très douillettes.
In desperate need of renovation: peinture marquée et écaillée par endroits, moquette tâchée... ce qui est dommage car cela donne une impression de mauvais entretien (ce qui est le cas), même si le ménage était irréprochable par ailleurs.
Beaucoup de bruit selon les soirs (live music côté Petergate) sachant que comme dans tous les vieux appartements, les fenêtres ne donnent aucune insonorisation mais en revanche extrêmement calme durant la nuit à partir de 11h.

The location was amazing and the saving grace on the overall experience. The massive couch was also a bonus with the family relaxing, though I worried about how clean it actually was.
It’s extremely tired, mattresses uncomfortable, dirty, dusty. The shower had no explanation on how to use it properly and my first shower had me being scalded then blasted with ice water every 30 seconds. Thankfully my husband worked out the sharpie markings on it!
