Struttura accogliente e dotata di ogni necessità. Per noi che viaggiavamo in treno e’ risultata un po’ lontana dalla stazione, per raggiungerla a piedi ci vuole circa mezz’ora.

The property was very clean, well equipped and was within walking distance of the centre of York. There were a variety of shops close by and, although it was located near a main road, it was very quiet.

The main living area, although it was well equipped with a large lovely kitchen/dining area, there was only a very small sofa to "relax" on. However, this didn't spoil my stay.

On our first night, the neighbor knocked loudly on the floor at approximately 7:00 PM and again at 9:00 PM, despite the fact that we were only speaking at a normal conversational volume. At 10:00 PM, he came to our door to tell us to keep the noise down. On the second night, the floor-knocking repeated while we were again just talking normally. We ended up speaking in whispers for the majority of our trip just to avoid conflict. As two women traveling alone, having a stranger confront us at the door late at night was intimidating and made us feel unsafe. We were unable to relax or enjoy the space we paid for. Also my pillow had dried blood stains on them as well as the bed sheets. We also only had 1/2 a toilet roll for the stay which finished last night and we didn’t have any for this morning.
