Well located for me, comfortable, clean and welcoming.
It's an odd mix of smart and inadequate. Nice crockery, ill-assorted and inadequate cutlery; nice long bath, with a hole where the overflow should be; few and oddly located power sockets; and loo roll so far from the loo that I had to stretch to reach it.

We rented a different apartment than before (in the same block). Lovely and clean. Good value for the price in my opinion. Third time I've booked one of the apartments and will definitely carry on using them.
The area is quite quiet. It's about 15min walk into york. There are different takeaways on the same road. The parking is good once you get used to it. And the apartments themselves are clean, tidy and quite modern. Key safes on front so you can let yourself in. No hassle of checking in or waiting for someone to come and give you some keys.

The location is perfect for those who have events at York St Johns. It's also just a very short walk from the city centre. There are plenty of food options nearby including convenience stores within a few mins walk. The room was spacious and well maintained. Easy to communicate with the hosts who gave detailed instructions so check in and out were smooth
Some of the kitchen utensils need some TLC (pots and pans, spoons). The apartment can get warm in the day.

noisy. Should have brough ear plugs. But not used to city living. Only 1 large and 1 small towel provided. No hand towel. Not easy to reach toilet paper when sitting. No day light as ground floor flat with windows looking on to road so curtains closed. Picture frames but missing content.
