The apartment was adequate and clean. It was an easy walk to the City centre and restaurants were close by. York is an interesting city and it was easy to explore from our location.
The apartment is let down by the condition of the inside and outside of the apartment block it is located in. This was obviously not cared for with dust and dirt in the hallway and weeds growing across the entrance at the front.

Minster Apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Once we reset the modem on the TV cabinet, wifi was easy to connect to. Beds and sofa in the lounge were very comfortable.
The shower door leaked - we tried to keep the door in the correct position, but weren't very successful. No problem for us, just a very wet bath mat. We weren't comfortable leaving clothes on the outside line to dry overnight, but we worked around it.

The apartment was very clean and very well presented. Janet left very clear, detailed instructions for heating, tv, WiFi, recycling etc., recommendations for pubs, restaurants and a number in case you need to contact the host. The apartment is in an ideal location for access to to the centre with the train station less than 20 minutes walk.

Great location! Safe, plenty of parking space, fairly quiet location given that it’s near to the city. Found a nice little run loop to!
