Comfortable stay, child friendly and good location.

Clean, family friendly accommodation. Suitable for children. They have minimal but modern decoration and sturdy furniture - nothing where the children could knock their heads on, no breakable ornaments. The layout was also nice. All basic supplies were in the property: coffee, tea, washing up liquid. Not sure if this is standard or not so we tried to replace what we used 🙃

If I had to be critical some coat hangers would be handy - but this is really the only thing I could say.

nice family getaway for a night or two to explore York!

thorough instructions on how to find the place and collect keys. ample supplies for a bigger family although we were only 3 travellers. the apartment was warm once heated. the bathroom was nice and clean. Upon leaving I had to part my car for a little beyond check out time as I had car trouble, but the host's family arrived and was very understanding. thank you!

as it's top floor it won't be for any elderly relatives but we didn't have an issue! The wifi is a little intermittent. water pressure and temperature is not optimal but not unbearable.

Nothing to note. It’s on the first floor so you’ve got to walk up a flight of stairs but that was no problem for us.

Great Place to Stay, would definitely book again if we decide to visit York in the future

Location Fantastic with the added bonus of Parking, Clean Property, Easy Access to Town , Free Wi-fi also has Ironing Board, Towels , soap, shampoo etc, available to use

Near to the city of york

When run hot water very loud noise, had a dishwasher but not a lot of cutlery or plates. Had trouble getting into property when got there, phoned Samuel but he did not answer the phone, but after a while told me they had trouble with front door to flat, told us we had to fiddle with the lock, so in the end got in, but it needs to be look at. Also not a lot of dishes to put in oven if wanted to cook and make a meal. Also could do with more plugs in kitchen, also no dishes to put in microwave if wanted to cook in their. .

Definitely recommend

I was looking for a place close to the city centre since I would be walking with a baby pushchair and this apartment was definitely the right choice being less than 5min from the Walls. The apartment had all the structure needed for our stay (kitchen appliances, comfortable pillows/mattresses, nice shower) and the neighbourhood is quite nice as well. I must say that the host (Samuel) is amazing, answering super quickly and also providing a few extra items to better accommodate our baby.

Very nice apartment in a great location. Very quiet, despite proximity to road and city.

Good, quiet location. Instructions on how to get in good. Apartment was actually much nicer than the pictures online presented. Decent access to city centre and excellent amenities. Also, parking came as a part of the trip, which is always a bonus.

Communication before and after a bit wobbly, meaning that trip came close to being cancelled. Submitted ID docs several times on several ways, only to be repeatedly asked for them.

Ideal apartment and location for visiting York city centre and surrounding areas.

The location was useful for accessing the city’s attractions and was close to roads that allowed us to travel further afield. The apartment was comfortable.

Please advise future guests about the sensor on the bathroom light - a nasty shock to be put into darkness when in the shower.

Excellent location and good facilities, spoilt by shower failure

Excellent location close to city centre, and with parking. Flat very clean and well presented.

Hallway and landing (outside of flat) a bit grubby; could do with a clean at least. Bathroom has a damp smell about it. Shower stopped working half way through our stay which was inconvenient.

Location was excellent and the apartment was a very good size. The private parking is a huge bonus.

Lack of a spare toilet roll and hand soap. Kitchen could do with some more basic equipment like baking trays. Some stains on the mattress covers that could be replaced.

Great accomodation and location.

Fantastic location 10 minute walk to the city wall and all that York has to offer, from the many restaurants, bars to the Minster, Railway museum, Jorvik centre & other places of historical and cultural interest. Very well appointed accommodation with everything you need, great communication with the host prior to our stay.

VERY small. Pictures of the flat were very misleading, and discrimination stated two bathrooms. Smelt quite musty. Felt it was very overpriced. Some basic things missing from the kitchen. TV only had regular channels. Flat would be ok for a weekend, but not a week.

Clean apartment Close to city

No access to WiFi Previous occupant had taken the parking permit and there was no spare. Even though we were parked in the correct space for the apartment we ended up getting a parking fine, which we did appeal on advice of the property owner. Our appeals were unsuccessful and neither Booking.com or the property owner have offered to compensate our losses.
