The property looks just like the photos and was very clean and warm/cosy. It is within 10-15 minutes walk to central York and there are a few pubs and a bus stop nearby as well. The kitchen had plenty of glassware, cutlery, plates and things to use to cook as well as washer, dryer and dishwasher (soap included) We appreciated having tea bags and a kettle available. The beds were comfortable and plenty of extra blanets around. Easy to get in the apartment with the door code instructions but there are a few floors to climb (the apartment is on the top floor, which I prefer, but just something to note for older guests). Pack shampoo and soaps for the showers (one standing shower and one tub/shower combo) as it isn't available but there are two hairdryers. Plenty of towels. Great info about York in the binder on the kitchen table. We didn't have a car but parking and parking pass is available. A great stay - would stay here again if in York!
We wished there was kitchen roll/paper towels or napkins available. We ordered takeaway and all had to share the one tea towel in the house. FYI the "pull out sofa" is a single (pulls out of an ottoman type piece of furniture) so one child was on it and the other child was on the three seater sofa (which was fine for our group but something to keep in mind for other travelers). We asked to check in at 2:30 and were denied. We ended up going to afternoon tea at The Grand Hotel and they were able to hold our bags until check in so it wasn't an issue for us really, just something to keep in mind when planning your arrival.

Great location, decorated to a high standard and lovely furnishings, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and excellent parking. Much bigger than expected and extremely quiet. It had everything we needed for a weekend break. Would go back again and recommend.

Really nice apartment spread over 2 or 3 floors. Rooms were really comfy and well furnished. Great showers and nice bathrooms.
Kitchen was well equipped. Apartment was in a quiet neighbourhood.
Communication to get access was really easy.
Great to have off street parking for free (a lot of parking in york is over 20pounds per day).
Located about 10minute walk from york city centre, fairly easy walk and area seemed safe.
We had 4 kids from 6yr to 13yr old and was easy to walk around.
Would recommend staying here
