The property is located in the city centre meaning close to all attractions. Train station was just a 13 minutes walk, York minster just 5 minutes walk.
The overall cleaniness was ok, but there where stains on the sofa and cushions, stains on one of the beds headboard too. The top of the radiator located at the bottom of the stains is full of fluff/dust. I know it was an incredibly warm weekend to visit but we felt that 1 fan for the two bedroom apartment was not enough. We were told to bring our own which was not possible as travelling by train.

What a gorgeous home to stay in. We absolutely loved it. The location is great!! The layout of the home is good.
It can be a little noisy, and there's decent stairs to climb to get up to the place. Nothing too bad and wouldn't stop me from rebooking, but just something to be aware of. The pros definitely far outweigh any cons of this place.

Decor, furnishings are very nice. Lovely quality towels, comfy beds.
Quite noisy in one of the rooms at night give proximity to street.

Great location right in the centre of York, it is very noisy at the weekend so bring some earplugs if staying in the front bedroom/ lounge.
The shower wasn’t working properly, we did contact the host but I think it needs replaced. Either boiling hot or cold, no in-between. Shower head bracket was also broken so the taller member of the party had to crouch. Hand wash in the bathroom would have been welcome.
