A great little apartment with lots of nice little touches.

The location is excellent for walking into the city centre. Having parking included in the price made it possible to leave the car and walk everywhere. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable.

We couldn’t get the small tv in the bedroom to work, it was a minor issue but there was no signal even though it’s an aerial. The sofa was also a little uncomfortable for more than half an hour if sitting. These are minor issues and would not prevent us booking to stay again.

Good value for money , would stay again

Excellent location near city Walls and great having parking on site. Clean apartment and comfortable bed. Everything you could need for a short break well equipped. Excellent communication and local information was sent prior to stay which was useful

A great setting for a few days in and around York.

The location was great, so close to the city centre (especially with parking included). Communication with the owners was simple and easy, the accomodation was clean and certainly suitable for the two of us.

The bed was a tad hard in our opinions, but I am clutching at straws. It was honestly just fine.

Honestly wonderful

lovely gated apartment,very close to the town centre. I loved the little gift basket ❤️ We stay in alot of places and this one is so well cared for,you can really tell that the owners put their heart into this,made it very special. Super comfy bed. Everything immaculate,this property is a credit to you.

wi fi through the tv in bedroom not great at times,kept buffering on Netflix but this really is something I'm bring picky at.

A perfect, cozy and comfortable stay in York

The apartment was perfect for a trip into York. The location was fantastic, walking distance from everything. The parking space made it very convenient too. The little touches like welcome notes and treats made it very special. The owners were on hand to answer any questions, we felt very welcome looked after.

A great place to stay

The apartment was clean, comfortable and lots of thought had gone into providing everything that we could possibly need. It was just a short walk from all the attractions. Communication from the hosts was excellent. The beautiful Christmas tree in the lounge was a really thoughtful touch.

Cosy apartment close to York centre

The apartment is bright, airy, cosy, and comfortable. It is well equipped with all you need for a short stay. The welcome basket is a nice touch. Free parking on site is a great bonus. The location near Monks Bar is brilliant. Very easy walking distance to the centre of York. Communication from the owners regarding check-in, codes, etc, was great. In general, I would recommend staying at George Hudson Apartments.

The apartment was spacious for my sister and I, but it might be a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults. The legs on the dining room chairs could do with a tightening up as they felt a little unsteady to us.

We found the location so central that it was easy to walk to the local attractions.

The central location is excellent. The “goodies” left for us were much appreciated. Parking was very close and secure.

The bedroom is small and there was very little space for suitcases. The extra chair in the bedroom made the space even smaller so we relocated it to the main room while we stayed. The fan in the bathroom was so clogged that it was not removing any steam so the apartment felt a bit musty. Opening the windows in the main room and bedroom helped. There was no window in the bathroom.

Location, cleanliness, comfort, amenities. Stayed one night but would have been very comfortable for longer. Pull out sofa in seperate lounge/kitchen/diner terrific so can take two couples. Loved the coffee and tea and black towel for make up great idea. The gift basket if goodies lovely touch especially at end of sight seeing day. Everything you could want and a perfect location. Really quiet at night.

Nice, cosy, central spot

Really nice place, perfectly located. We were surprised how cosy the apartment felt, how everything was arranged and the really English snacks that were waiting for us.

With a family of four it was a little bit cramped with the two kids staying on the sofa, but that was something we anticipated on and something that comes with a central apartment. The sofa was easily transformed into a bed.

The ease of service offered was excellent as was the property. Above else the location was simply 5 star. Less than a minute York stands in all it's majesties.

Perfect spot for a stay in York

The close proximity of the city centre was exactly what we were after. Secure onsite parking is a must for us when booking a city break. It was nice to return to the pleasing decor and a comfortable bed.

One small irritation was the ventilation in the bathroom, there's no window and the fan didn't really do the job of clearing the steam.

Still good places but should be thinking about compensate guests if the radiator and boiler didn’t work and need to use

All facilities provided therein are in good condition.

The radiator is not usable, which we do not have any idea when actually happened. We just learned that the radiators weren’t working at night and getting colder which unable to stay if nothing being done
