Cosy, clean flat in an exceptional location.

This is a delightful, cosy flat for either 1 person or a couple. It is well laid out, with a large bedroom, comfortable living room, a well appointed kitchen, small bathroom and decent WiFi. It is located just outside the city wall and only a few minutes walk from York Minster. History, culture, eateries and shops are easily accessible. Parking is available on site and suitable for small/medium cars. The host is responsive and has a lovely, friendly manner. We would love to stay again

Good instructions to find, but if you're a stranger to York, it's easy to get confused. Look for the Double Tree Hilton on google maps....it's about 100 m before it on the right hand side

A very pleasant stay in a property very close to the city centre & would probably stay there again.

The closeness to the city centre was great. Having a parking space with the flat. Kitchen facilities. The host was very helpful. The TV and WiFi. The size of the property. Relative peace and quiet on Saturday and Sunday.

The noisy upstairs neighbours on Friday night. The view. The toilet seat not staying up (nitpicking)🤷‍♂️ Smelly carpets in the communal areas.

Enjoyable trip without too much hassle.

The apartment was comfortable and was well maintained. Free Wifi and parking which made it cheaper than staying in a hotel and having the hassle of parking in a public car park.

I thought the bed was a bit hard, but the wife was OK with it.

Perfect city centre apartment

Second time staying here and it’s an amazing location with city centre parking ( free) Very well equipped apartment perfect for a weekend away . Host very proactive with communication and all information was clear, concise and correct Really good stay for exploring and enjoying the beautiful city of York

Nothing apart from flat upstairs seems to have wooden floors so can be a little loud but this didn’t happen at night

Fabulous location for a trip to York. Very short walk into town. Well equipped apartment, lovely to have space to spread out.

Very tight parking space and horrendous smell in the hallway outside the apartment. Likely not the owners fault but make entrance and exit to the apartment very unpleasant. Bed was a little uncomfortable.

A spacious and comfortable apartment in central location.

Fantastic apartment just a short 5 minute walk to Shambles, West Minster and historic centre. Clean, comfortable, bright and airy with a washing machine and well equipped kitchen. Good quality linen and comfortable bed and lounge. We will return.

Love York, love the apartment

Fantastic location, well equipped apartment. You can literally see the city wall from the building. It was walking distance from everything that we wanted to do. We would definitely come and stay again.

I've had more comfy mattresses but these are first world problems and I slept.

Perfect spot for exploring York.

The location is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting to explore York and the Minster. Just outside Monk Bar, you are within a 20 minute walk of everything you would want to see in this fabulous city. Our host was fabulous at communicating and solving a couple of small issues after check-in. Full marks.

The building is not well built so we can hear the upstair’s tenants walking across the floors in the morning and at night. It was a minor inconvenience for us but light sleepers may feel differently. This is not a problem the host can solve.

Spacious, comfortable property a few minutes walk from the city centre and close to the local Sainsbury supermarket

Sound easily transmits from the property above and on occasions the occupants were quite noisy. The bedroom would benefit from an additional blind or thicker curtains to block out the early morning light which would wake light sleepers.

Perfect place to stay to see York.

The property had everything that we needed for our stay, it was home from home. It was clean, comfortable and had an extremely well equipped kitchen. Sainsburys supermarket was only a 2 minute walk away and all the sights of York were 5-10 min walk. We didn’t need our car from the time we arrived until we left. Bev met us on arrival and showed us how to turn on the heating and the Wi-Fi connection & handed over the keys. It was easy to contact her but we didn’t need to.

PERFECT location and accomodation and the host was lovely. Will definitely recommend & stay again!

Location was absolutely perfect, a few minutes walk into the main walls & so much cheaper than the hotels inside the walls! We love that the host had freely supplied washing up liquid/hand soap/kitchen roll/loo roll/big bath & hand towels and sugar, ketchup vinegar/salt & pepper...it had all the extra essentials needed for a perfect stay. Loved the touches of the York dvd's & lots of reading books available - felt like a home :)

Perfect stay and cannot fault anything...just remember to switch on the 'daytime' water heating switch in the cupboard if 2 people both want a bath during the day...fortunately I got in first! :)

The flat was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils etc. The location was excellent and only a short walk to the city centre.
