The accommodation was immaculately clean. The location was superb for exploring central York & in easy walking distance from the train station. We enjoyed being able to sit outside on the balconies. The view of the minster was great.
The building has a handy lift.
The staff were polite & helpful on the phone , & quick to respond in person when a problem arose with the ensuite.
The kitchen was well equipped.
There is little drawer space even though there is room for chests of drawers in the bedrooms. We had to live out of our cases.
We were disappointed that the TV did not show terrestrial channels. Not everyone has Prime, Netflix, etc.
The ensuite flooded as the water from the shower was not draining quickly enough. Luckily, there are 2 showers, so we just both used the same one. However, we must add that the staff were very quick in bringing fresh towels as our first batch was soaked mopping up the ensuite.

Location is superb within walking distance of everything. Parking space almost directly behind massive bonus in York. Everything you might need is provided. Electronic entry so no keys to worry about. 2 balconies another bonus.
Settees were a bit uncomfortable low backs not a lot of support but that is more personal preference. Second bedroom is a bit tight if 2 people using as clothes rack gets in way.
