Lovely house, nicely refurbished in a fabulous location. The kitchen was well equipped and a couple of arising issues were well taken care of by the very friendly and helpful staff. The permit parking system worked well and we didn’t struggle to find a spot. Most places were walkable, so we didn’t use the car that much.

Cleanliness could be better. On first sight, all good, but some of the cupboards and drawers were dusty with left behind items. Also the kitchen cupboards were grubby with crumbs etc and some cutlery and glasses had been put away with remnants still on them. The dishwasher needed salt and doesn’t wash well on eco, much improved on a hotter programme with salt in the machine. One of the party found the mattresses comfy, but for us in a double room, we found it narrow and springy. Felt like an open spring type so quite a bit of roll together.

not enough toilet paper

Lovely property and a great location with very easy access to the city centre....4 mins walk. Good communication and parking permit sorted out in advance by host. There are two bathrooms, one is ensuite to the upper bedroom and a main bathroom for the three other bedrooms and a handy downstairs toilet on the ground floor. The kitchen is a good size with plenty of work surfaces and a table big enough for everyone to eat round. If you like your older building, this is a great place to stay with lots of original features.

Very happy there was nothing we didn't like perhaps a coat stand or hooks in the utility room would be handy for a wet day.

The property was very close to the shambles, couldn’t have asked for better.

The property itself is beautiful, however it is in need of a deep clean in certain areas.
