The worst accommodation experience ever

The host literally stood us up. We didn't enter the property because the host declined all our calls. Why? Because it was the night before the big protest in Novi Sad and the demand for rooms was huge. He didn't let us know. We were left without accommodation...

Okay if you want to be in city center but find better alternatives

The only good thing about this property is location.

The issue was the AC that work but not making any difference in temperature , the bed is very creaky, there is a few bugs that are walking in the toilet, you get a soap that comes with the spray,

Terrible Stay

Location was good.

The entrance of the rooms was terrible, expained as breakfast included but we didn’t have any breakfast and even if I requested information about breakfast, host didn’t reply any question. I didn’t like anything except of location. I don’t recommend at all.

Avoid - choose a hostel for better quality.

The cleaner was very friendly.

The property who contacted us to let us know the check-in time obviously was just sending an automated message, check-in was not possible at the time but we came back two hours later. The pictures are much nicer than reality, lots of broken things such as the shower plate and the blinds. Food left in the fridge and hairs all over. Super expensive considering it was worse than a hostel.

Perfect location, shame about the AC leaking & paint smell

Perfect location within the old town.

Air conditioner was leaking a lot down the wall and onto the ground, and there was a strong smell of paint within the room. Not responsive to queries via booking.com (questions and direct message) and nowhere to store bags before check in time. Choose the option to pay in advance via booking.com because the price somehow increased by 10% when paying through their own booking link.

Great location, clean, but in the basement, smelly, wifi didn't work + poor communication with host

Great location, clean, found it on a discount, so it was cheap

The room is in the basement, which is not visible from the pictures. The air is very humid, and smelled moldy. The bathroom smelled of sulphur and had no window. The toilet was not fixated right, I almost fell off it the first time I used it. The fastening for the shower gel/shampoo in the shower was loose. There was no info about the WiFi in the room, and the host never sent one. I had to get help from two locals to call the host and ask for check in and later for Internet, and they were rude on the phone. I only knew the code for returning the key the next morning, because the cleaning lady had left it unchanged when she took the key out of the box. So the whole neighborhood knows the code, too. I asked for a different room at 16:00 on the day of arrival (from a WiFi at a restaurant), because of the smell, but the host said they received it much later and responded rudely the next day.

It was cheap yes. City center location.

The bed had bugs inside, sheets were damaged by a cigarette, we found a cockroach, the shower had only freezing cold water. The worst sccomodation we slept in to be honest.

Secure, well positioned and good sized studio apartment with air conditioning

Although new, the bedding wasn’t the right size. The sheet didn’t cover the mattress, and the quilt had a bleach stain and tear. Only these things let the room down.

Poor facility, unpleasant uncooperative host

Nothing. Very hard to find the place because there is no sign. The host is neither helpful nor polite. He was arrogant and behaved as if he was doing favors to me. The room reeked of smoke although I had requested a non smoking room. On the second night someone banged on my door at 2 - 3 am for sone time. Then they banged on other doors. Very unpleasant, unsafe and disturbing. The general location is very convenient but the specific facility is in an unmarked alley - hard to find without clear instructions which i never received. Had to wander for 20 mins, called the host multiple times, he answered after 7 or 6 attempts. Then he behaved as if I was bothering him. Very unpleasant experience.

Tiny room, unlike the photos but amazing location.

The location is absolutely perfect, it’s in the central old town and close to so many nice places.

first this is more of an Airbnb than a hotel, which if fine by me. However where the issue came was the host had messaged me prior saying he would send me all the information on how to reach the property on the day of the booking. The day arrived and it was 8:30pm at night and I still hadn’t received any informed even after messaging them on booking.com. Eventually I had to text them on WhatsApp with the number provided here and managed to get the details by 9:00pm. I made my way there and it was extremely confusing to find the exact room. The location was easy by the rooms labelled 1&2 were visible and I was in room 3 which was not viable at all nor clearly instructed how to get to. After whatapping the owner again, we directed me to it. But by this time it’s 11:30pm, which was exhausting for me to have to go through. Once getting into the room, I was surprised to find it to be very tiny. No space to even unpack our luggage, we had 2. It didn’t really match the photos online as the photos look spacious and nice. It was to the point where we started looking for other accommodation because this was nothing like we expected. Eventually we decided to stay, and figured out that the WiFi doesn’t work. That was another issue we faced. And after messaging the host, he managed to give us to correct WiFi. Overall the experience wasn’t the best but the location definitely made up for it.

Accommodation Darija was fantastic! The location of the room is perfect, it's right in the city centre near all the restaurants, cafes and monuments. There is parking in a street nearby, we had no trouble finding a spot. The staff was very friendly, they explained everything in an e-mail with pictures, and the communication was very timely and professional. We were greeted as soon as we came. The room is heaven! The view is very sweet, and if you love architecture you'll be in love since it is situated in a passage between buildings. Our room was exceptional, very clean and it had everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable we were amazed, the bathroom clean and new, a new tv with Netflix and youtube which was very useful. We even had a mini fringe which was convenient. In conclusion, we are very satisfied, we will come here again when visiting Novi Sad.

Na dan otpočinjanja boravka, kada sam došao u Novi Sad i trebalo da dobijem informacije za prijavljivanje nije mi poslata poruka, iako je tako bilo predviđeno u instrukcijama koje sam dobio prilikom rezervacije. Niko se nije javljao na kontakt iz oglasa. U suštini otkazan mi je smeštaj na dan kada je trebalo da otpočne boravak. Formalni razlog otkazivanja od strane domaćina je bio ne odgovarajuća kreditna kartica, što nije tačno. Jedino što mogu da kaežem prevaranti. Ovakve članove treba ukloniti sa platforme Booking.

И домаћин и Букинг нису реаговали, а новац су узели. Од букинга само аутоматске поруке. Лоповлук велики.
