Great place to stay if you want to be waking distance to the center

Quality breakfast that you can pick from a list of 4-5 items and order, the location is amazing - in the center of the city and the room was totally ok, stuff was very nice and communicative

Nice spacious apartment with everything u need. Kind staff really helpful and informed. Parking close to apartment just 200meters. Location absolutely in the heart of Novi Sad.

Pretty solid place for a short stay.

The location is great! The room is pretty ok, had a little tumble with figuring out how the Ac works, but nothing bad about the facilities. The staff was super friendly And helpful, 10/10 for them.

There is no elevator in the hotel, but i guess it is fine If you don’t carry a big suitcase. The biggest let down was the included breakfast. In the pictures it looks like it is breakfast buffet, but in reality you get a paper with couple of choices(5 out of 6 are eggs, just different version, And one sweet breakfast). We chose sweet both days. First morning, i’m guessing the muffins, even though quite warm, were very hard And not the easiest to eat, the second day it was veeery different, they were fresh And soft. The flavour was not bad either day, but the consistency And texture are a different story. Since we chose the hotel based on the pictures of the buffet, this was very dissapointing. It is not a bad thing to have this kind of breakfast, but i feel like it should be explained a bit better.

It was very pleasant and restful!

I had a suite, which was a surprise in a nice way. The room was quiet, the hotel was also quiet. Breakfast was included in the price (mostly egg dishes, not gourmet food but fine). The location was central, easy to fine from the bus and railway stations as well. I enjoyed staying there. It was also nice that the bedding was destined for summer and and one didn't have to struggle with a heavy comforter, as is the case in some places. There was AC, and the temperature was perfect when I had it on during the afternoon and turned it off for the night and opened the window.

Pleasant stay apart from the smoking inside the restaurant.

Very central location close to the main shopping and restaurant area. Breakfast is tasty.

Smoking in the main restaurant of the hotel even during breakfast. Actually, all restaurants allow smoking inside at any time of the day. You cannot dine inside if you are not a smoking person. Room decor was different from the ones shown in the photos. The shower needed replacement as it was old and not in a good state of repair. Also, water flow could not be controlled. Bathroom tiles were chipped, and ceiling was mouldy. We had no natural ventilation in the room. With regards to the breakfast, not all drinks are included in the room rate.

- Lack of outlets to charge electronics. We needed to move beds and unplug lamps in order to charge phones - Shower door could not close fully, so after a shower the floor of the bathroom was soaked from escaping water

Nice location in the center of Novi Sad

The location is in the city center of Novi Sad, and is about 25 minutes walk from the bus/train station. The main entrance of the hotel is at the backstreet but well designated. However, it is a long way to Petrovaradin Fortress, but you can take the bus. I walk all the time which was the easy way to say all the sights. Friendly staff, the normal check-in time was at 2:00 pm but I arrived early and they gave me my room without extra charge. The standard rooms were small, which was adequate for single occupancy. In room you have a coffee maker, minibar and free wifi. The wifi connection works pretty well without interruptions and fast for downloading photos. The bathroom is somehow too small which has toiletries and good warm showers. Breakfast was included in the room price and served in buffet style starts from 8:00 to 10:00 at their restaurant. By the way, the hotel is equipped with restaurant but hasn’t eat there. For the room price this hotel was genuinely worth it. And besides, they provide drinkable water if you have empty bottle you can refilled.

No elevator, but this was for me not a problem because I’m a light traveler with a small backpack but for people with suitcases this can be annoying.

Perfectly located, decent and neat - some issues with the breakfast policy

Veliki hotel is downtown, a few meters from the city center. It is decent, quiet, and the breakfast is very good, with an emphasis on local products. It is also clean and the receptionist was very helpful and polite.

They could avoid charging for espresso coffee at breakfast, it is bad for the very hospitable image of the hotel, and I guess the hotel would flourish also without the few additional dinars. The breakfast is from 8 to 10 only, and they won't bring you even coffee if you happen to be 10 minutes earlier than 8.

The room is really big, with a separated bedroom - better than on pictures provided. Friendly staff, we've arrived a bit earlier 14:00 but checked in without any questions. Bathtub in the bathroom. Kettle. Breakfast is good.

Decent, friendly experience

Comfortable and spacious room, clean place, downtown, excellent breakfast. They bake their own bread by the way, which is excellent. Nice restaurant, as well.

Nothing I didn't like really. The furniture could be a little bit more carefully selected, and a lift would be usefull, as well.

The lady at the reception is the best, helped a lot with advice/our questions and our dog. The hotel is in just 3 minutes walk from the city center. Lovely Serbian breakfast just compliments the whole picture
