Overpriced and not taking care of you as 4* hotel

The room is clean, the mattress is good, top location in the centre of Novi Sad. The staff is nice, they do what they can. The coffee is good.

It is not the 4* hotel as they position themselves. These are rooms with some service, and you have to take care of yourself in case there are any issues. The place is noisy as there are bars nearby working till 2am, take your earplugs with you. There is a huge Exit sign above the door with an intensive green light, which you cannot turn off. The ceiling is very high, so you can do nothing with it. Something was wrong with bedsheets - they were white and clean, but me and my husband both felt like allergic (although we are not allergic to anything in general). The breakfast zone is on the -1 floor and it does not look like the place for food. It is a conference room, where they can bring you food. After one night we decided to leave although we had one more night paid. It is definitely overpriced for the experience we got.

The breakfast in the cafe is far better than in the basement. Don't go to the basement, go to the cafe. Hotel basement service was non existent and atmosphere sucks compared to the cafe next door. There was also an annoyingly bright exit sign lit up above the hotel room door internally. Totally unnecessary. Would be much improved if they turned them off.

Nice hotel in city center

Nice and spacious rooms. Very clean. Nice little restaurant in front where you have your breakfast. Great location and walkable distance to all highlights.

There are a lot of stairs. Outside and inside the building. So with a stroller not ideal. Specially the moments you arrive at the hotel by yourself. Almost impossible to get up.

Yes, these are indeed the rooms and not the hotel. There’s a reception but no other facilities inside the building. Building is secured, no one without the key card cannot get in. Rooms are big, with very high ceiling, soundproof, well air conditioned. Bathrom could be better equipped (shower gel is more a detergent), but it’s clean and overall ok. Breakfast is organized in their restaurant outside of the building. It’s not a buffet breakfast and the choice is not the best but everything we ate was good. Also the waiter was excelent. Same goes to receptionist as well.

Personally, I prefer staying in regular hotels. For a room it’s a bit expensive. The room had a slight, unusual smell, but nothing too bothersome—it’s manageable. Getting to the parking is really complicated.

What I didn’t like: I’ve been coming to this hotel for several years because I feel connected to the vibe and the people. Unfortunately, they always place me on the ground floor. As you can see in the photo, the window feels claustrophobic and offers no city view. I’ve asked several times before my booking not to be placed on the ground floor again, but either my request is ignored or not understood. It’s disappointing that, as a long-time and loyal guest, my wish is still not respected. If I am placed in this type of room again, I would unfortunately have to reconsider staying here in the future.

Great stay in Novi Sad

Great location, reception staff friendly and helpful. Helped with parking. Breakfast was good, staff at breakfast friendly. Cleaning was efficient and quick. Very close to old town.

Noises at the weekend, due to nearby bars playing till 1 am. Also lots of stairs to reach reception , could be problematic with heavy bags or mobility problems.

Nice stay....but

Small room, nice bathroom but very small. I asked for a parking spot several days before my arrival, they told me ok but they never mentioned that they charge 9€ per night. That's something you tell the customer when they ask you for a parking and not the day he is checking out. I had no problem to pay, but it's something i would like to know beforehand.

Overall a good experience

The location was very good, close to the city center and the parking space was available right in front of the hotel for 9 euros/night. Room was clean and well lit, spacious and clean bathroom, good breakfast and a smooth check-in/check-out

The air conditioning unit was a bit too noisy and there was also a club nearby which prevented us to sleep with the windows open.

Terrible stay - had to move to another hotel in the middle of the trip

Polite and supportive staff

Hello, We have planned to stay at Kombinat on 24-29 of April. We have checked in on 24th of April and had two horrible nights due to the following: - strong smell of smoke coming into the room during the night. We are not sure the source, possibly through ventilation - very loud noise from the club next door till 12 am and later people talking very loudly - air conditioner not working, it was too hot in the room Our whole family felt exhausted after two nights and we had to find an alternative hotel and pay for it on short notice We therefore checked out on April 26th from Kombinat and moved to another hotel We request a full refund for our stay at Kombinat please Thanks Boris Zolnikov

Impressive hotel!

This is the brand new hotel located literally in the heart of the City of Novi Sad. It seems that I was one of the first guests. The rooms are very spacious with very comfortable beds, and the whole hotel is immaculately clean. The breakfast was great in the Kombinat restaurant which is located on the ground floor of the common building, great varieties of food were suggested. Very good value for the money! No doubt I would come again, and recommend it further.

A comfy hotel option right in the middle of the attractions

Although the hotel's central location was ideal, just a stone's throw away from all the attractions and amenities, we were somewhat disappointed with the breakfast experience. It was served in what appeared to be a resto-pub setting, and unfortunately, the breakfast items were not clearly laid out or displayed, making it a bit confusing to navigate. Additionally, the selection of breakfast options was rather limited, which left us wanting more variety. Excellent service though.

Overall, our experience was positive, with only a few minor considerations to mention. Firstly, the access to the first-floor reception was not very suitcase-friendly as there was no ramp available. It would have been more convenient if there was an accessible option for guests with heavy luggage. Additionally, the building had more of a residential feel rather than a hotel ambiance, which resulted in a somewhat impersonal atmosphere. While this didn't significantly impact our stay, it's worth noting for those seeking a more hotel-like experience. Apart from these minor aspects, we didn't encounter any significant negatives during our time at the property.
