Great location, but the hotel needs to be refreshed

Great location, 5 minutes walk from the old town. A very helpful receptionist. She answered all the questions and helped to improve the hotel stay. For example, we couldn't have a proper breakfast in the hotel cafe, because it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. And the smoking and non-smoking room is not divided by anything. And in this case, the help of the reception staff helped a lot. The girl opened the lower floor of the cafe for us, where there was no one else but us. The waiters had to come down to us and bring food. We are very grateful to them for this. But if the hotel is listed with non-smoking rooms, then this should be done at least somehow.

The furniture in the hotel needs to be replaced and repaired. They know about it, but they don't want to change anything. A leaky shower stall and wet carpet, broken skirting boards, towel holders, because when we said that several things were broken in our room, we were simply asked not to use them. This hotel is not very suitable for staying with children and for adults who cannot stand the smell of smoking. It is strong in cafes and is very noticeable in the rooms too. Apparently, the air conditioning system is not coping and all the smoke from the cafe reaches the rooms. We also had an unpleasant experience with breakfast. A couple of times, the food was brought half-cooked.

Very cossy and nice place in the city center. The room was big and the same as on the photos. In the morning we could chose from different breakfast options. We liked the place a lot.

A cosy experience

The accommodation & establishment is just beautiful. If you are looking for a warm & cosy experience this is an excellent option. The rooms are comfortable & clean. The bed is perfect & bathroom is spacious. The restaurant also has amazing food & the breakfast menu is delicious with good variety. Location is central & quiet as well. The staff are the highlight, everyone we encountered was so nice & very hospitable. Novi Sad is a special place with friendly people.

Quirky small hotel with charm and on-site restaurant

Breakfast was good we could have anything we liked from the menu. Location was quite good for our purposes. I could walk to several of the conference venues, and there were restaurants within walking distance. I liked the quirky decor! The blinds for the skylight and windows worked well in the room. Our room was spacious for Europe, and the bed was a good size. No noise from the street. Restaurant pleasant, we had one dinner plus an occasional cold drink or coffee.

Nothing to be done about the lack of an elevator! Housekeeping failed to show up on at least one occasion. Some staff had better English than others but on the whole we could make ourselves understood.

Extremely Disappointed – Never Again!

Good location and availability for parking spots; clean rooms

We are beyond disappointed with our stay at this hotel and would absolutely never return. There was no rest, no sleep – definitely not what anyone would call a vacation. During our stay, there was a loud event held in the restaurant. The bass was so strong it literally made the bed vibrate, and the music was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other speak. It went on for most of the night. Even earplugs didn’t help. We tried to speak to the receptionist about the situation, but she was dismissive and borderline rude – as if we were the problem. At the very least, the hotel should have informed us in advance about the event, but there was no warning whatsoever. This whole experience was deeply disappointing. It felt careless, selfish, and purely profit-driven, with no regard for the comfort or well-being of the guests. Avoid this place if you’re actually looking to relax, or check before that for event…

Horrible experience

The younger staff tried to be nice

This is the worse experience in 20 years of travelling to Serbia. We have arrived quite late and they refused to offer us a parking place (although 4 parking places were free the entire time of our stay). Although I am fluent in Serbian and I have spoken Serbian, there was an older guy with glasses that kept yelling at the younger staff "dont give her anything", "give her just keys not card to the room". The wifi is really bad, the signal is too weak and it disconnects all the time (if the phone goes automatically on roaming - this can add up to huge costs). Many things in the bathroom didnt work properly and the walls had brown stains. There is a restaurant which turns into a bar during weekends - so there is loud music until late at night. Last but not least, apparently there is no water during the night in Novi Sad - something that the staff should have informed us about. We found out from friends.

I would stay there again

The location is perfect, nice breakfast and super nice staff, the night shift guy was an original guy I really liked, the others were also super nice. I decided for an extra night after I came. I’m sure the garden out there is amazing in the summer.. Thanks..

Really good value for money

It is really good value for money, tasty breakfast, convenient location, nice room. I appreciated that all the staff spoke English.

This is nothing specific for the hotel as we experienced it almost everywhere but you can smell cigarette smoke even by the door of rooms.

Great stay in Novi Sad

The rooms and the hotel is lovely, it seems that it was recently very meticulously renovated which you can see in the details of every corner. Everything was working well and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and abundant with a large choice. Location was also great about 5 mins walk from the historic centre

Charismatic Hotel boutique super chick and cute

Lovely restored hotel with a historical character and amazing decor. Our room was absolutely lovely with a beautiful balcony looking over the roofs and the treetops.

Parking is really difficult, so difficult one day we thought we might not manage to get out.

nice and cool

Very good location. And the guy behind the front desk was brilliant. I think his name is Drakac. Very helpful and always smileing. There was extremly good music in the restaurant garden during dinner. Drakac was the DJ. You can feel that he has great experience in music too. I can recommend highly this place.

The waiter during the morning coffies can not smile. After Drakac and the others it was very unusual.

We liked everything: clean and modern location, in the city center, very friendly and helpfull staff, delicious breackfast, they advise us to park the car on the street - it was safe (we forgot to make a reservation for the parking place).

In out room the internet was a little bit slow.

Really beautiful hotel and rooms. The man who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless clean. Nice facilities and attention to details. Nice play room by the garden.Definitely will visit again.

The two men who took the order and served our breakfast didn't speak good English, so there was a misunderstanding with the order.

I've already had great experiences with this place, so it kept the standards it set before.

The breakfast is not a buffet style, which is OK in itself, but you can choose only one food option, so you cannot, for example, combine a sweet and savoury option - if you take an omelette, that's it, no french toast with jam for you. I would recommend including a possibility of taking two food options (when there are already two drink options).
