Luxurious place in the fortress - must visit

Everything was wonderful, we liked the hotel itself, surroundings, style and vibe. We used taxi to get to the center, it's only 3-4 euros per trip. The breakfast is ok, the room was upgraded to bigger one, parking is free, the stuff is smiling. :) Glad to be here and hope to come back.

Difficult to say, but one lady at the breakfast didn't like our ask to warm food, as it was fully cold.

Really nice place in the historic location with only minor issues.

Interesting location - inside the castle and a river away from the city centre. Great view from the room. Clean, nice room with a bathtub. The place was very quiet. And the staff were really nice and helpful.

It was a late autumn, the day was pretty cold and despite the heater and air conditioner were both turned on to generate heat it still was really cold in the room. Having more heating options to my room would've been nice.

Overall impressed with Novi Sad and would visit again.

Historic setting which was very interesting, especially the underground tunnel tour. Good breakfast buffet, nice restaurants on site.

Room was in state of disrepair - paint falling off bathroom ceiling. Too far to walk to town and parking our rental car in Novi Sad old town not an option as it is impossible for tourists to pay for parking without a Serbian SIM card.

All things considered, a solid stay at Garni Hotel Leopold I

The location (especially the views of the river and the city centre) was special! Also, the receptionists were super friendly and helpful; e.g. helped me to store my luggage and order taxi 😊 I got a room that seemed to have been fairly recently renovated, so I was happy with that.

Some places, like the hallway carpets on the 3rd floor, could benefit from refurbishment. Also, I woke up during the night and noticed that there was a large cricket-like creature jumping/flying around the room. I wonder how it got there, as I never opened the window... Nevertheless, I struggled with the bug for a couple of hours, then managed to sleep on and off for the rest of the night.The breakfast was quite average.

The location, the stuff was receptive and helpful, the breakfast was exceptional

The beds were not comfortable At reservation I have selected 1 large bad but when we arrived there was not offered. The water form the shower does not drain. The door was hard to open because of the carpet.

location was excellent, staff were very cooperative and provided excellent service. hotel appearance, lobby and all common areas are well decorated. Breakfast was good.

Room flooring and equipment were dated and in need of renovation. Hotel IT and security systems need to be upgraded.

Great hotel but very uncomfortable beds

Great hotel with beautiful facilities. Good location, just a short walk across the bridge to the old town which is a beautiful town to visit. Breakfast included a good selection of hot and cold food.

Very uncomfortable beds. Don't worry about paying for a river view, it's a tiny window and you can hardly see the river.

Mooi hotel op prachtige locatie

Friendly welcome by staff. Room is small and simple. The bathroom was spacious. The accompanying restaurant is fantastic, with a beautiful view of the city and the Danube. Very friendly staff and great food.
