Modern and very clean room. Be careful to understand instructions to open the hotel and room.

Spacious Room Very Clean and Comfortable

Communication with staff via WhatsApp or Phone provided was not succesful at all. I couldn't get the Ticino Card to take advantage of staying in a hotel and getting transportation for free. At the end as per no answer I had to pay myself the transportation inside Ticino Canton.

Smile, you’re always on camera!

This hotel has a nice location right in the middle of Ascona's old town (so get ready to park a while away and walk your way there with luggage). Rooms are ok, with a little desk and little else.

The Ascona Boutique hotel offers a “seamless” guest experience, seamless, that is, in its total erasure of human interaction. There’s no front desk, no concierge, not even a suspiciously cheerful bellhop. Just a sleek, unblinking door that won’t budge until your smartphone begs it politely. Once inside, you’ll be greeted not by staff, but by a symphony of ceiling-mounted cameras tracking your every yawn, stretch, and regrettable decision to wear those loud socks. Don't forget to get a drink at the Orwellian "Honesty bar". Cheers to the future!

Lovely stay in a very stylish hotel - but completely "staff-free"

The hotel is perfectly located, beautifully decorated and very stylish. The rooms as simple, but really all you need. Also, taking the price into consideration and comparing it with other hotels, this really is a very priceworthy accommodation that we can recommend. So, overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and we would definitely come back.

There is no staff at all. The only way to get hold of them is via call/whatsapp. Check-in and opening doors all happens through an app, which is fine as long as the app is also working. We do like a "human touch", so that is something we did miss. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

A Catastrophe for Seniors and Anyone with Mobility Issues”

The property itself is very clean and modern - the breakfast 3 star but given Swiss quality standards are 30% above European average you are on the safe side even the choices are modest. The coffee machine is adapted to Swiss users…it takes 5 min to brew an espresso.

Avoid this property at all costs if you are not young, fit, and traveling light. The access is a nightmare. The hotel is buried inside a car-free zone with no vehicle access and no parking nearby. You’ll end up dragging your luggage 10–15 minutes just to get there — something they conveniently forget to mention before you book. Getting inside doesn’t get better: the main entrance and even room doors are controlled by clumsy codes that are anything but user-friendly. For anyone over 60 or less mobile, this is a guaranteed frustration. The bathrooms are a joke. Yes, they have disability-style handles and high toilet seats, but the place feels like a hospital ward — sterile, cold, and completely uninviting. And what’s worse: these so-called “accessible” features are meaningless, because the property itself is not accessible at all. The wheelchair lift is a full-blown safety hazard. When we tested it, the door shut, locked, and the lift refused to move or reopen. A wheelchair user could literally end up trapped inside with no escape. Staff eventually reset the system and freed the door, but the lift itself remained broken. Imagine arriving late at night and being stuck like that — a disaster waiting to happen. So here’s the truth: • If you’re young, healthy, and carrying almost nothing, you might survive this place. • But if you’re a senior, have luggage, or need any form of accessibility, this property is a catastrophe. The hotel itself might be nice once you finally get inside, but none of that matters when the basic access is unsafe, misleading, and humiliatingly badly thought out. This should be clearly written in the property’s description instead of letting guests discover it the hard way in the middle of the night.

Where Swiss precision meets futuristic comfort

Both check-in and check-out were so smooth I almost forgot they happened. A couple of taps, door opens, done.I had one question, received a reply almost instantly, and never felt abandoned. Every corner feels curated: sculptural furniture, clever mood lighting, and artful décor elements that make the lobby and rooms look ready for a magazine shoot. :)) Even the tableware at breakfast is thoughtfully chosen, really stylish and high quality. The breakfast buffet: quality over quantity - fresh breads, local yoghurt, seasonal fruit, plus those elegant plates. A warm-hearted lady discreetly refreshed every dish before it even ran low (proof that attentive service still matters here). If your schedule isn’t rushed, spring for the lake-facing room. Watching Lago Maggiore from the terrace is worth every franc. I’m already planning my return.

Perfectly located, modern and convenient hotel

- The room was amazingly clean and nice to be in for a long stay. - The hotel is modern, clean and it has everything you need. - The staff present during breakfast was always super kind!

The keyless system and automated check-in/check-out is something I honestly didn’t like. Not only the led lights blinking all night in the room was uncomfortable but I was honestly looking to leave my phone aside the full week, which was impossible as I needed my phone to get into the hotel and room. On a final note, I suggest adding more human interaction. I really missed that. It’s cool you add technology to innovate, but please remember beautiful places and amazing boutique hotels are also made of the people in them :).

Super Hotel im schönen Ascona

Alles! Nach der Online Reservation habe ich sofort die Zugangsdaten und nötigen Informationen für den Eintritt bekommen. Top modern und alles über das Handy machbar. Die Anlage ist zentral, sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt sogar gratis Tee und Kaffee und am Morgen gab‘s sogar frische Gipfeli. Herzlichen Dank dafür. Das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet, zweckmässig aber dennoch genug Ablageplätze und Kleiderbügel. Wirklich top!

Posizione eccellente, istruzioni facili e multilingue per accesso comodo ed indipendente a qualsiasi ora. Struttura moderna, molto pulita, accogliente e funzionale. Camera spaziosa e luminosa. Accessori di ottima qualità. Identica impressione data anche dagli spazi comuni, dalla hall alla sala colazione, impeccabili.

Purtroppo, ma non incolpo la struttura bensì l'incuria la maleducazione di alcuni clienti, la stanza presentava già alcuni piccoli difetti, come il portarotolo in bagno staccatosi in parte dalla parete. Un problema certo rimediabile, ma sul momento sorprendente, fastidioso ed evidentemente sfuggito agli addetti alla pulizia.

Das war Top! Lage: Zentral. Eingangsbereich: grosse Lobby. Zimmer: klein, modern. Guter Fernseher. Sauberkeit: da ist Luft nach oben (gebrauchtes Wattestäbchen am Boden). Bett/Matraze: eher hart. Frühstück: Kein Frühstück, aber es gab gratis Kaffee, Tee und Croissants. Ausstattung: gut, etwas wenig Kleiderbügel. Personal: Am Morgen war jeweils eine Dame da, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, spricht Italienisch. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ok.

Das war Flop! Nicht nachvollziehbar ist das Check-Inn. Dieses System sollte man überdenken. Es ist kompliziert und man braucht zwingend ein Handy. Das System ist störungsanfällig, ich kam plötzlich nicht mehr ins Zimmer. Lüftung ist sehr laut, auch nachts, man kann sie nicht regulieren/ausschalten. Keine Antwort auf E-Mails. Niemand am Empfang. Niemand zuständig. Schade.

Tolle Lage Sehr ruhiges Hotel, wir waren fast alleine dort. Ende Saison. Wir haben das genossen. Schöne neue moderne Ausstatung. Badezimmer mit Regendusche, das Badezimmer ist gross und alles war sehr sauber. Die Terasse schön mit Halb-Blick auf den See. Direkt neben dem Glockenturm was jedoch nicht störend war. Zimmer warm und angenehm.

Selfcheckin etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, jedoch hat alles geklappt. Schön wäre wenn die Reception besetzt wäre.

Schöne Zimmer an guter und ruhiger Lage in Ascona. Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich self-service und man checkt online ein. Dies hat alles bestens geklappt. Das einzige Personal dass man sah war beim Frühstück, dieses war sehr freundlich.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut, in der Nähe vom See, in der Altstadt. Bei der Ankunft hat uns die Betreiberin sehr herzlich empfangen und uns beim Eintritt geholfen. Technische Probleme machen das Öffnen der Türen im Moment etwas schwieriger, sie suchen aktuell mit Hochdruck nach einer zuverlässigen Lösung, so dass alles funktionniert. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten super. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Hotel "digitale" Siamo arrivati e non siamo riusciti ad entrare, abbiamo chiamato il numero per l'emergenza e ci hanno trattato come dementi MA era guasto il lucchetto della stanza Ci hanno cambiato stanza ma c'era un problema con il televisore Doveva arrivare il tecnico ma non è arrivato Comunicazioni solo attraverso messaggi (al telefono non rispondevano più) e comunque con tempi di comodo Colazione scarna e senza qualità e nessun riferimento perchè in struttura sono solo fino alle ore 13

Das Hotel ist modern, sauber und verfügt über ruhige, sehr schöne Zimmer. Unser Balkon mit wunderbarem (teilweisen) Blick auf den See und auf die Kirche war den Aufpreis wert. Das Frühstück war frisch und es war für jeden etwas dabei. Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral und dennoch war es ruhig.

An den Trend, dass alles mit dem Smartphone abgewickelt wird, muss ich mich noch gewöhnen. Der persönliche Kontakt beim Frühstück war sehr nett!

Das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr aufmerksam und es wurde immer alles aufgefüllt. Das Frühstück und die Lage waren hervorragend ! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. 24 Stunden Kaffee- und Tee gratis zur Verfügung !

Das Gerät für die Bedienung der Klima-Anlage war nicht auffindbar. Wir mussten die Klima-Anlage manuell bedienen, war aber auch nicht so schlimm.
