First time in the country and the hotel and staff made a difference to our experience .

1) Compliments to staff Claudia who went out of her to try and assist us before our Swissman event. Grateful to her and also her colleagues. 2)Loved the breakfast ! The spread was simple but the quality of bread and dishes were v good . 3) Location was excellent for the event and near to the city and supermarkets.

1) Sunset was late in summer; would have liked a night curtain for the glass balcony door : )

it was divine. chic clean and modern with classic twist. very lovely. beautiful manicured lawn and pool was great too. kids loved it. rooms were delightful and sunny.

Very friendly and attentive management and staff, excellent service, very clean room, hotel and lush manicured gardens. Breakfast has broad selection with many fresh items, and a lovely verandah over looking a garden. It's a few minutes walk to the main water front promenade.

beautiful swimming pool, great restaurant, friendly staff and nice clean and comfortable room

many wasps when we were eating dinner and breakfast and many guests seemed to be having problems with them.... perhaps the hotel could do more to repel these as the nest must be nearby.

Great location, right next to the Center of town but without the noise. Lovely pool area. Dinner and lunch were very good. Attentive staff although still some mishaps.

Room could be cleaner. They should also fit mosquito nets in the rooms - we were eaten alive! Breakfast was nothing special, and at times you were left on your own as a guest with staff no where to be seen.

Comfortable stay nearby the lake with great breakfast & wellness area

Charming hotel with a variety of options for breakfast, conveniently located nearby the lake. We have also very enjoyed the smaller but very nice and tidy wellness area, which we were lucky enough to enjoy on our own. We will definitely be back, thank you! :)

Matrasses were quite soft, but I guess it's up to each guest's preference. Also the room temperature was quite high, however nothing that opening a window for few mins would not fix. ;)

2nd year at same Hotel … excellent stay once more

This 4 Star offers 5 Star service … staff friendly and attentive … rooms well appointed and recently renovated so even nicer now. Pet friendly. Underground parking if desired. Nice outdoir swimming pool. Very good restaurant with terrace. Hotel very close to the town Lido (beach) and the marina front with lots of waterfront restaurants. Recommend boat trip. Locarno very close. Free public (bus/train) travel in the area for visitors so able to go to Locarno by bus or the lovely town of Bellinzona by train for free.

Nothing negative to write about the hotel …. but there are a lot of mosquitos in Ascona in Aug/Sept so if mosquitos “love you” (as they do me) be sure to take mosquito repellents …. strong ones!

Beautiful remake of Ascovilla rooms

The renovation & refurbishing is really very nice, elegant & modern in one. But facility is crowded, and I had to go to an external restaurant (which was good and I know), but being sent there not as choice, I did not like.

Die Lage ist toll, das Personal und die chefin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Garten mit der Poolanlage sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Das Frühstück war lecker und die Atmosphäre toll.

Auf dem Gang hat es sehr speziell gerochen (Putzmittel oder Raumduft).

Wunderschönes Hotel in Ascona

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen - nahe vom Zentrum von Ascona und sehr ruhig. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend und auch das Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Alles ist sehr sauber. Werden definitiv wieder kommen.
