Definitively recommended.

This is a very nice, modern hotel. Not big luxury, but very well equipped, lean modern design, spacious and in a good location (just a few minutes walk to the lake and center of Ascona). The 24h trust bar and water fountain are great, and the lounge, library and garden really cozy and pretty. Would definitively stay there again, also perfect for a workation.

Very nice and clean. The lobby is very stylish and convenient if you have to do some work as well. The free city bikes and coffee in the lobby are bonus. The receptionist Olga was super friendly and helpful! Breakfast is alright - you could squeeze some fresh orange juice which is nice - but no cooked items apart from boiled eggs and there’s limited choice of ham or cheese. Maybe because it’s still the low season? We could hear people in the hallway and when they slam shut their doors. We didn’t hear noise from outside.

A very positive experience!

Friendly staff, generous facilities all round, first class breakfast.

The room was good and large and well equipped. The only flaw in this cold weather on day two was that the bathroom was unheated and therefore very cold. On most other visits to Ascona this problem will not arrise again as Ascona will be hot and the room is air conditioned but now in early spring it is a slight handicap. Otherwise only very good experience and we will come back!

A pleasure to stay here

Our stay at the Hotel Mulino certainly exceeded our expectations as we had booked quite spontaneously. We chose the hotel first and foremost so that we could bring our bikes to tour the area .The hotel is situated in a residential area opposite a school and within walking distance to the centre of Ascona and lakeside .Our check in was a wonderful experience and we could conduct it all in Italian, which helped avoid the tourist feel . The staff were all very courteous and even came with a cake and candle on the morning of my birthday ! The hotel itself offers a lovely buffet breakfast which can be eaten outside on the covered terrace under a canopy of green leaves . We could sit out at the terrace for our own meals and tea coffee and wine were available in a self service fashion, making it ideal and rather like being at home Hotel Mulino is very unassuming and definitely a place to return to soon

Superb

Lovely renovated rooms, quiet as you are a short walk from the main area of Ascona. Wonderful breakfasts and friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms, and the swimming pool area is a great bonus.

We would love to have the choice of a real double bed (ie one mattress and not two), but this is usual style in German and Swiss hotels.

Nice hotel, nice location and we would come back...

We had a very nice family room with a balcony. We all had good night sleep there and my kids complemented the hotel as well. Breakfast was good and overall our experience was very good here. We would come back to the hotel...

Not much to complain about, the only part was that after 18.00 there was very little service (there was free coffee and water though) so you could not get the occasional drink for the kids or grown ups. There was a vending machine with drinks but it was not working..

Friendly staff, excellent restaurant and comfortable stay

Over our four nights stay we got to know the staff, who were very friendly and went out of their way to look after us. We ate in the restaurant every night and had consistent high quality food plus a good variety of options, including a different daily set menu option each night. Our room was comfortable and the pool area was nice to relax in. The location was close enough to walk to the lakefront and the on-site parking option mean it was easy for us to drive to nearby sights.

It would have been nice to have a kettle /coffee machine in the room and the option of a double bed (although the beds were comfortable - not too soft but not too firm).

Perfect stay in a perfect location!

We arrived at this beautiful hotel very tired after a long flight and we cannot think of a better choice to unwind our tired bodies and catch up on sleep. The interior of our very spacious room was beautiful, the room and amenities were extremely comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The bed and bedding were superb and there was ample space to pack things! The breakfast was very good and not to be missed! The hotel is walking distance from the promenade and all the restaurants. The owners are very friendly and went out of there way to assist us and make our stay great! We recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ascona. Thanks for great memories!

Unser Aufenthalt war rundum perfekt. Das Zimmer war grosszügig, komfortabel und sauber. Es wird ein reichhaltiges Frühstück angeboten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und in wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man das Stadtzentrum.

Wir haben den Kurzaufenthalt sehr genossen.

Tolles Frühstück. toller Service, laufend wurde aufgefüllt. Frisch gepresste Orangen! Vor allem schätzten wir den Zimmerservice, unauffällig, aber immer präsent, ganz toll, auch mein Nachtgewand wurde immer akkurat zusammengefaltet!

In der Ausschreibung wird P-Platz ausgeschrieben, Wir mussten dann den öffentlichen PP für CHF 12 / Tag buchen durch das Hotel: Es war kein weiter Weg Hotel - PP, aber es entspricht nicht der Ausschreibung.

Sehr entspannt, ruhig und freundlich, wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Super Lage (nicht ganz im Zentrum, und etwas weg von der Strasse, d.h. sehr ruhig), freundliches Personal, modernes, grosses Zimmer (wir hatten ein grösseres Zimmer/"Suite"); es gibt einen Pool mit Liegestühlen; gutes Frühstücksbuffet, das alles bietet, ohne überladen zu sein. Gästen wird gratis Wasser und Kaffee zur Verfügung gestellt.

PERFEKT

Ist unser lieblings Hotel in Ascona. Preis - Leistung einfach TOP. Auch mit unserem Hund waren wir sehr willkommen. ( er hat sogar sein eigenes Hundebett bekommen 😍) Vielen Dank für das feine Geburtstags - Omelette. Es war köstlich und leider konnte ich mich nicht mehr persönlich bedanken. Einfach super und das jedes Mal aufs Neue. Danke

Unser Zimmer war ruhig, wir konnten uns herrlich erholen. Das Frühstück war sensationell. Das Konzept von der 'Trust Bar' ist gelungen. Der Pool ist hygienisch und sehr schön.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Dafür dass sie sehr klein ist, hat sie sehr viel Charme. Wunderbarer Pool, sehr nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück.
