First time I wanted to stay at the hotel more than to go for a walk

I have been in this hotel for a few times and it was always perfect experience. This time we got Villa Favorita with amazing view to Lago Maggiore and Ascona. Rooms were big and clean, breakfast was super tasty. I will definitely come back. Many thanks for the staff and hospitality.

Lovely stay!

The hotel is closely to the boulevard area. The staff is amazing. They were very friendly, helpful and flexible with check out time because of our little own and his morning nap.

Nice hotel, comfortable room and good breakfast with the possibility to stay on the terrace!

The room was in a dependance inside a very nice garden

We arrived by train and to access the hotel there was a steep stairs. There was no clear sign of where the reception was so we went all the way up (with the suitcases). While the access to the reception was not so high. There is also the road of course and we discovered after that it was not very long. So if you suitcases we advise to go by the road!

Superb

Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable rooms. Easy check-in. Great location. Friendly staff. It was great that we could leave our luggage for a bit on the check-out date so we could explore a bit longer.

Just a personal preference but I think hotels should not be charging you for in-room tea and coffee. Wi-fi was also a little too slow to use any of the hotel-covered TV subscriptions like Netflix.

Quiet - average - decent experience

The bathroom had a was not very comfortable. There was no shower curtain and there was a window so lack of privacy.

Ants in the room!!!

Good location and beautiful terrace

Old room with minimum comfort. Ants were coming in the room as there were holes in the walls. When we complained at the reception, they only gave us some insects repellent... We ended up checking out earlier than planned

Charming hotel with a rooftop

Great rooftop and gardens. Good breakfast included in the price. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is just 10 minutes away from the promenade and all the restaurants. Very friendly staff.

The place is a little bit run down, but it has its charm. The restaurant is just a big room with tables and the food choices are very limited.

Good hotel for family holiday

Family room was spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpfull.

It was a little bit cold in the room in the evening and at night, however during warm months i guess it’s not a problem. Parking space is very small and it’s hard to park when you have a bigger car.

Tolles, sehr freundliches Personal; zentral gelegen; Zimmer Upgrade zum selben Preis bei Ankunft erhalten, da 7 Tage gebucht; Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber umso charmanter, sauber, ordentlich, gutes Frühstücksbuffet, unkomplizierter Check-In; komfortables Zimmer, Balkon. Nette Frühstücksterrasse; Pflanzen rund um das Hotel, deshalb recht idyllisch. Gerne wieder

Balkon recht nah am nächsten, manchmal lautere Nachbarn; etwas geräuschvoller durch Klimaanlagen des Restaurants unterhalb; keine Klimaanlage im eigenen Zimmer, Ventilator soweit ausreichend.

Die Lage war top und das Frühstück sehr lecker!

Leider war das Zimmer sehr veraltet - online haben wir jedoch keine solchen Fotos gesehen!??? Sehr schade! Es gab auch kein WLAN und das TV funktionierte nicht!???

Eine schöne Zeit in Ascona mit Hund, in einem super Hotel sehr bahe am Zentrum! Empfehlenswert!!

Wir waren in einer der Villen. Das hatte seinen Charme. Es war sehr sauber und das Personal war durch und durch freundlich! Wir durften unseren Hund in den Speisesaal mitnehmen, das freute uns sehr. Ob das immer so ist kann ich aber nicht sagen.

Es war sehr ringhörig in einer der Villen, ist aber auch dem alter des Gebäudes geschuldet.

Für ein verlängertes Wochenende war die Unterkunft völlig o-k.!

Die Lage ist ideal für die Erkundung der Altstadt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und wird regelmässig nachgefüllt. Das Zimmer in einer Neben-Villa war anständig gross.

Das ebenerdige Zimmer in der Neben-Villa ist nicht so ideal, da alle übrigen Gäste direkt vor dem Ausgang zum Garten vorbeigehen müssen. Die Sauberkeit war mässig und das Zimmer-Inventar alt und wenig gemütlich.

Der Empfang war sehr zuvorkommend und die Zimmer sauber. Vom Balkon aus, hatten wir einen wunderschönen Blick. Die Lage liegt am Hang und ist sehr zentral. Alles ist sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Auf Parkplatzreservation wurde nicht hingewiesen. Saft am Morgenbuffet roch verdorben. Wurde nach dem Hinweis sofort ausgetauscht.

Trotz sehr schlechtem Wetter konnten wir die Tage geniessen

Die Lage war sehr gut, zu Fuss schnell im Dorf und beim Bus. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, die Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Der Eingangsbereich und die Korridore sind etwas düster und grau. Etwas Farbe wäre schön.
