Perfect for a short stay in Ascona

We stayed for one night to cut our journey to and from Italy in half. The Hotel is well placed (3 min on foot to Ascona centre) and easy to find. The room was small but clean, comfy and quiet. The bathroom was large and immaculately clean. Breakfast was surprisingly large for a small hotel, and the staff was kind and welcoming.

Superb hotel in great location, excellent owner who really cares

Located literally 5 minutes from the lake front and all the restaurants and bars. You are guaranteed a parking spot which is a major bonus! The new owner just took over the hotel and he is the most gracious host ever. The property is a little old (the new owner told us about it and his wish to renovate)but the service is impeccable. Very clean, very friendly, great breakfast. It was our 2 nights away from the kids and we couldn’t be happier with the place. Will definitely come back. Super thankful to the owner for the excellent hospitality and letting us have all those late breakfasts 😁

Excellent location 7 mins from Ascona lake front, great host, friendly and welcoming. Fantastic terrace for breakfast and relaxing. Car park available right in front of hotel. Great shower - excellent value for money.

Air conditioning would have been nice but fan was provided.

An enjoyable long weekend at Lago Maggiore.

Nice little hotel in Ascona. The new owner is very friendly and was always available to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. For breakfast there was a good selection of breads, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, cereal, eggs, ... Overall great value!

Nothing really, except that parking spaces for the car are tiny. But with a little patience and consideration from all the drivers, there was enough room for everybody's car.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einem neu renovierten Zimmer zu übernachten – alles war modern, sehr sauber und liebevoll gestaltet. Das gesamte Team war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass wir uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt haben. Unser Aufenthalt dauerte leider nur eine Nacht, aber wir kommen garantiert wieder. Herzlichen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Sehr gemütliches kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal. Alles tiptop sauber, neu renoviert. Boxspringbett super bequem. Frühstück war einfach, aber von allem und genug vorhanden.

Schade dass wir das Frühstück (Wetterbedingt) nicht mehr draussen einnehmen konnten. Etwas lärmig wegen der Strasse, aber da kann man die Fenster zulassen.

Das Hotel und die Lage war super und wir wurden sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit empfangen.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Es wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt, was aufgebraucht war. Zimmer und Bett war super und wir empfehlen das Hotel gerne weiter. Gruss Sylvia & René.

Een zeer vriendelijk ontvangst en ook de dame bij het ontbijt uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een ruime kamer, stenen vloer, heel schoon en ook de badkamer met inloopdouche is uitermate prettig Voor wie het belangrijk vind, een grote tv aan de muur. USB aansluiting aan de wand naast het bed! Parkeren voor de deur op eigen terrein; SFR 12.- per dag. Ontbijtbuffet is oké!

Wij hebben het niet gemist, maar er is geen airconditioning.

Es war spitze

Ja, ich kann das "dei Fiori" wirklich sehr empfehlen. Wir haben im September '25 vier Nächte dort verbracht und waren mit unserem Zimmer / dem Frühstück / den zwei Damen vom Service sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel hat insgesamt 12 Zimmer, die 2022 renoviert wurden, und ist jeder Bettenburg mit Pool, Sauna etc. vorzuziehen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und betreut, auch die anderen Gäste waren außergewöhnlich nett und freundlich. Das Frühstück ließ keinen Wunsch offen, das Buffet wurde immer zügig nachgefüllt. Zimmer, Bad und Gemeinschaftsbereich waren sehr sauber, WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei. Parkplätze vor dem Haus sind gegen Gebühr, in die Altstadt / zur Seepromenade sind es zu Fuß wenige Minuten.

Tolles, idylisches Hotel!

Es jst eine tolle und sehr hübsche Unterkunft. Zwar etwas hellhörig, aber uns hat das nicht gestört. Bei schönem Wetter kann man das Essen auf der Terasse geniessen, welches mit tollen Pflanzen umringt ist. Sehr idylisch! Das Morgen-Buffet ist sehr fein und eine gute Uswahl. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden es wieder buchen.☺️

Tutto, la signora che ci ha accolto è stata carinissima e sempre disponibile, in pochi minuti a piedi si arriva in centro, la zona è tranquilla e vicino a un bellissimo parco, stanza silenziosa e dotata di tutti i confort, parcheggi comodi direttamente in struttura, colazione con prodotti di qualità, se torneremo ad Ascona, cosa che spero vivamente perché è un posto bellissimo, soggiorneremo sicuramente di nuovo all'hotel Garni dei fiori.

Die ÖV Verbindungen waren hervorragend, sowie war der See und Einkaufsläden in angenehmer Gehdistanz. Das Frühstück war simpel, aber gut.

Es hätte ein Kaffee- oder Teeautomaten geben können. Damit man auch ausserhalb der Frühstückszeiten etws warmes Trinken kann.

L'accueil par une très charmante dame a été très agréable. La chambre est équipée de façon très fonstionnelle et le plus de notre chambre était un grand balcon. Le petit déjeuner est correct. Excellente localisation

Nous avons séjourné dans cet établissement en pleine canicule et l'absence de climatisation nous a empêchée de profiter de notre séjour, la nuit ayant été une fournaise. Le parking est facturé 12 F. les 24h, cela n'est pas précisé sur la description de l'hôtel

Super schönes, gemütliches Garni an ruhiger und doch zentraler Lage. Prima mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Wir fühlten uns gleich zu Hause. Neu renovierte Zimmer mit Garten oder Balkon, alles sehr sauber, ein gutes Frühstück, mit grosser Auswahl. Ein kleines Paradies mit ganz viel Herzlichkeit.
