Classic and cozy property!
Me and my husband were there for 3 nights and it was awesome. The hotel is a castle and so the structure and interior design was so magical and artistic, the ceilings were all painted and well preserved. The staff is also so friendly, and they’ll help you in anything you need.
More than a hotel, we got to stay in a place full of history, and I wish we had more time there to actually get to know more about the place ( I’m into history and I’m a curious person)… Unfortunately or fortunately there is so many things to see and places to go in ascona, I would recommend at least 5 nights there if you like to do hiking. The location of this hotel is perfect, there is so many restaurants and local shopping places around.
Ascona is one of the most beautiful places I have been out of 12 countries so far I have traveled, and if you have a chance, just drive through Switzerland roads, we went to a museum 2 hours away (Gotthard Museum) and we saw the most beautiful waterfalls everywhere, Alpes and so much nature and we got to know more about this beautiful country history.
I would definitely go back.

Could do with some small touches to merit the rate charged - maybe a piece of fruit or bottle of water in the room, even at least provide the usual in room coffee maker!
Breakfast offering is poor.
