Location, location, location

Great location and only a very short stroll to the main attractions of the village. Very comfortable bed and delicious breakfast.

Someone was smoking in room #3 which creates an uncomfortable, stale smell in the room. Needs to be fully re-painted, curtain replaced, etc.

Good location in Ascona

The property was very conviently situated to our interest points in Ascona. Close to a lot of restaurants. The check in procedure was really smooth, picked up the keys from a locked box at the location.

I would say the location is perfect for a night or two, however, the room is quiet small. It was not a big problem for us because we were out all day and only returning to the room to sleep.

Excellent stay and excellent staff!

Fantastic place for our family to stay. The staff was exceptional and the room was so spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning helped so much in the heat with a small baby. They provided a cot for us and always made sure we had everything we needed. The location is great, not far from the main part of town but far enough so you really don't hear anything. The blinds helped so much with the sound at night and the bright heat during the day. I was really nervous traveling with our baby for the first time from England, but the main woman working at the hotel (and the restaurant!) was so helpful and kind. She works nonstop and really does an incredible job. I highly recommend staying here!

Just note that there are many stairs to the apartment. Not terrible, just heavy to carry luggage and baby stuff. Not a deal breaker for us, but if this is something you struggle with this might not be the place for you.

A perfect getaway to avoid burnout from daily life

Extremely cute building in such a favourable and calm location, the room was simple but cozy and perfect to just come back to when tired and in need for a nap or to spend the one night.

There’s nothing we particularly did not like, it was just unfortunate that the restaurant there is undergoing renovation and therefore was closed. It will be something to try for the next time.

Superb

The hotel location is nearby the lake, only next to the lake promenade, but more in quieter side. Hotel room equipped with espresso machine+capsules, wide varieties of teas choices,biscuits, a small fridge, clean towels, etc. The hotel restaurant serves different menu every night, the pizzas are very delicious for dine-in or take-aways. The staff Katia was very nice and helpful during our stay.

am Morgen in der Früh war es sehr laut. Das Restaurant unterhalb bekam irgendwelche Lieferungen. Für das Frühstück musste man in ein anderes gebäude

Vielleicht die Lage. War allerdings nicht sauber, wir haben die Unterkunft unverzüglich verlassen.

Es ist kein Hotel, Garni, Osteria oder ähnliches. Zimmervermietung wäre passender. Keine Reception, keine Person vor Ort. Nur Telefonkontakt mit Schlüsselkasten style AIRBNB. Zudem war nicht sauber gereinigt, es war ungezifer im Bett. Als Rückerstattung erfolgte nur gerade die Preisdifferenz zur Ersatzunterkunft. Kein Goodwil, nichts für unsere Umtriebe (wir mussten mit ÖV von Ascona nach Gordola zügeln), kein kostenloser Kaffee, nichts. Wir haben dies als kleinlich, nicht kundenfreundlich erachtet.

Sicher nicht wieder

- zweckmässig - zentrale Lage

- Zimmer war um Check-in Zeit nicht gereinigt (14:00 Uhr gemäss Infomail vom Anbieter) Um 14:50 Uhr war noch nichts gereinigt. Zudem hat der Anbieter uns telefonisch, in unfreundlichem Ton mitgeteilt, dass wir nur das Gepäck deponieren können und dann draussen warten müssen. - Wir sind mit dem Motorrad angereist und wollten kurz duschen. Das Reinigungspersonal hatte uns nach einigem Hin- und Her frische Tücher ausgehändigt. - Nachts auch um 04:00 Uhr noch sehr laut draussen (Partygänger auf dem Heimweg + laute Motorräder vom Parkplatz gegenüber der Unterkunft) - Ausstattung - Den Verwalter haben wir nie angetroffen. (Schlüsselbezug via Schlüsselbox) - Kaffee und Wasser kostenpflichtig, die Kurtaxe muss Online mittels QR Code überwiesen oder im Zimmer deponiert werden. - Klimaanlage uralt - habe ich nicht zum Laufen gebracht
