Overpriced

The quality of a 3 stars hotel sold at the price of a 5 stars hotel. 😕 The initial room they gave us (534) was smelling really bad from the sewage. We had to ask to change rooms. Our request was approved by the staff and the second room was alright. The bed was not very comfortable but at least it was clean and not smelly. However, everything in the hotel was of mediocre quality - the rooms, the breakfast (a few notches below mediocre), the spa, the restaurant. In the Spa there were facilities that didn’t work (for example, the Ice room). The best sauna (the Finland sauna on the second floor) works only between 16:00 and 20:00 and they put it on at 16:00 so it is actually ready for use at 17:00. There were other little things like you have to pay extra for some store brand coffee pods and water in a 5 star hotel. Paid indoor parking and so many other small things make it feel like a low-cost airline than anything else. In my honest opinion - the money is just not worth it!

Comfortable hotel with great SPA and good breakfast

The room and all facilities were amazing. Breakfast and dinner were good too. Having a big pool is gorgeous and the night club is a great idea. The SPA is awesome.

Two slow elevators sometimes caused big delays. The restaurant was a bit expensive.

Nothing.

Never again. The room is bad, the kitchen is even worse... The massage therapist almost broke something on me. The only good thing is one of the women at the reception—she’s super kind, smiling, and helpful. The rest of the staff is terrible. I honestly don’t even know what to recommend—overall, maybe not Pamporovo at all 😀

Cosy weekend in Perelik Pamporovo

Excellent hotel, the top one in Pamporovo. Clean rooms, picturesque view from the balcony, comfortable beds and sofa, very nice new bathroom, very polite staff, tasty breakfast and good choice in the restaurant for the lunch or dinner. The best spa in the area.

The wooden parts of the terrace and stairs- they are quite old, maybe the property should plan to renovate them. People put their towels on the sun beds in the spa without using them. We spent there 45 minutes and all beds were empty but reserved- some rule by the staff needs to be introduced.

We will definitely stay here again!

We booked the maisonette for 3 adults and 2 children, and it was a great choice. The upstairs separate bedroom was a huge hit with the kids. The rooms were very clean, the view was amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. The pool and spa center were super clean and a big bonus. The staff were absolutely amazing, and went above and beyond to help us out with an issue with our vehicle, making sure our trip ended on a high note. 100% we will stay here again.

The hotel is OK. Definitely not a 5-star hotl. Valuewise should be about 25% cheaper.

The hotel location is good. The room was clean, the bathroom was well designed (compared to many European hotels where the shower usually splashes on the entire bathroom floor making it unusable without drying it out), the amenities were somewhat OK. The breakfast also was OK, but nothing really out of the ordinary

This is not 5-star hotel! 4-star may be, but definitely not 5. As such the hotel is overpriced. It lacks the amenities that need to be offered in a 5-star hotel. The breakfast was OK, but the fruit bar was really pathetic - pretty much all the fruits in the fruit section were old and beaten up. Again, not a 5-star hotel experience.

Not worth the money, nor the effort!

A lot of potential but poorly managed. Some of the staff tried to help us with the issues we had but others were hopeless. Breakfast was decent, so was the spa

Property was run down despite recent renovation. Rusty pieces of metal sticking out on the balcony and broken shower in the bathroom. Second floor of two bedroom apartment was uninhabitable as there is no ventilation nor window; it got to 32 degrees on the first night and had them move us to separate rooms after three tries. Air conditioning system is pretty bad, property is too hot inside, air is dry and uncomfortable to stay for longer than a couple of days. Found an open chocolate bar on the room counter upon checkin that someone took a bite from. cleaning lady just came in to replace afterwards without even knocking or asking for permission to walk into the room. Dining options were as bad. Gloria Mar had extremely poor service; soup was brought out and I was told the bread would take 10mins (why even bring out the soup so it gets cold?!). Kids got their food last with quite a delay. At some point they let people smoke cigarettes in the front room of the restaurant where they had pieces of steak hanging and aging! Glamour Chalet was slightly better but still not good. Ordered a Bloody Mary and it came in a martini glass with horseradish root and chili peppers on the side (you need to get the classic cocktails rights at least, no need to go crazy with the presentation). Soup was good but waiter was a bit clueless as to what was on the menu. There are only two small elevators for entire property that can comfortably fit 4 people. These elevators are also a bit dangerous as the doos close pretty quickly and do not open when someone tries to hold the doors. They are also used by housekeeping as there does not seem to be service elevators, which makes the wait even longer before and around noon. Overall, we were expecting some very basic conditions to enjoy our stay which we were not provided. We were expecting even a bit more from a five-star property but without having the basics it is tough to talk about its merits for a five-star property.

Overall i had a great stay and i would gladly return both in the summer and winter.

Great location, great spa section, great view, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast.

There is no air conditioning in the summer which was a big problem for the mezzanine, as the air on the second floor, where the bed is situated, was hot and humid. This is extremely disappointing for a 5 star hotel. I really cannot comprehend how this is possible after the big renovation. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable as well. A small nitpick - the TVs in the rooms are extremely cheap and it’s hard to connect a device to them because of the way they are mounted to the wall. The staff were nice enough to help me, for which i am thankful. This may be a small remark but it makes an impression when you have in mind the standard a 5 star hotel should keep and the premium price you’re paying.
