A comfortable hotel

Location was excellent. Hotel was beautiful decorated for Christmas. Loved the indoor pool.

Not really anything to recommend about this hotel

Bed fairly comfortable. Very little else, not sure how it rates 4 stars

Air conditioning was like a jet engine noise, opening the window to cool the room was not an option as there were dogs outside barking all night. Hair dryer didn’t work properly.

I recommend visiting SPA and mineral pools in other 5 star hotels, as well as city public baths.

Very tasty coffee, Velingrad water in the minibar, average breakfast (eggs, tomatoes, sausages, sliced cheese, ham, local pastries and nothing like a croissant, toast) and a normal dinner (two salads, pasta, hummus, grilled meat, fish, cutlets), there is fruit but not much, you won't leave hungry but nothing fancy.

There was no mattress pad, the pillows were old, the bed linen and towels were very worn SPA, pools

Quick relax

The pool was big and warm, the location is excellent. Food was ok although there was a small variety.

The sauna and Steam bath were not working properly all the time. Furnishing is oldish and there were moulds in the bathroom with the strong smell of chlorine

Room dated but we expected that. Mineral water in indoor pool great but pool area needs attention and better ventilation. Food not that good and quite limited.

It was quiet and clean so it met my needs.

I read about a buffet breakfast in past reviews but there wasn't one! Maybe because it's not busy enough? Anyway I ordered an American breakfast and this was a huge bacon & mushroom omelette with tomato, cucumber, toast, plus two bonus pieces of very undercooked bacon! The shower door in room 122 needs to be replaced as it didn't close and the floor got covered in water.

Chilling experience

I liked the size of the room and the size of indor+outdoor pool.

Old mattress and old smelly bathroom. It was very very cold in the halls. The trip to the SPA was 5-6 min with two lifts and almost unbearably cold. The kitchen has dropped the quality of the food. Definitely not as good as per previous comments.

The Sunday night receptionist is the best! He helped us so much. Big appreciation for him!!! (Unfortunately I did not get his name, but surely we will never be thankful enough to him) The staff in general is very nice. The location is good for shopping. The lunch menu was always tasty!

The spa area is small. The shower there was working by splashing water all around from the cable itself cuz it was so old - for a 4 star hotel that must not happen

Great location in the centre of town. Pools are a good size, filled with mineral water. Overall, a good hotel, with everything you might expect from spa hotel.

Everything was ok. Buffet breakfast, which was included in our price was quite average, but otherwise ok. Whilst the mineral water seemed to have an affect, the extra procedures we bought were a little underwhelming.
