The location is excellent. Nature around the hotel is beautiful - pine trees everywhere.

This is NOT a 5/4 star hotel. It might have been in the past, but not anymore. Everything needs to be renewed - spа zone, rooms, everything. We had a problem with electricity and needed to change rooms due to old and faulty switches in the room.

How did it qualify for a "5 star hotel"?

- Food was not bad -

- Pool: VERY DIRTY!!!!! Literally pieces of dirt and dead animals floating on the surface of the water. It is mineral water, but nobody cares to clean it. Even after numerous complaints about it, the staff ignores and doesn't even try to clean it. - Bathrooms: Even in the "luxury rooms" bathrooms, the shower and mixers are at least 20 years old and dirty. The water comes poorly and painful 😖. Toilet seats are the cheapest possible Chinese on the market. The shower cabin is plastic produced in the 90s - Rooms: small small small. Just don't dare call it "standard". That is anything but a shoe box. We had to change a few times. - Air-conditioning: it just doesn't work in most of the rooms. We had 4 rooms and 3 of those had to be changed due to the air conditioner not working. - Restaurant: Only the non-bulgarian staff was friendly and helpful. - Massage: Okish. The quality of the customer service depends on the particular person in charge. Overall: Confused how it is possible to get anywhere close to 5 stars and above 8 ranking on booking.com. It hardly should get 3.

Superb

Great place, fantastic outdoor pool and hot tubs. Try the contrast between cold and hot tubs. Extremely quiet and a large variety of buffet breakfast and dinner. Overall i believe one of the best choices in velingrad. And if the management proceed with renovation and additional facilities it will just be an unbeatable holiday option.
