Receptionists tried to scam us

During a phone call asking them to check availability on booking, they asked me for 1000 BGN (about 500 €) on top of our reservation, claiming that the room we wanted was available, but it wasn't listed on the platform. We refused to reserve over the phone, they said they would check availability on booking, but they never updated it, we booked what was available in the end.

Good food and location but the good ends there. It’s not a relaxing place to be, will not return or recommend.

The location is great and the food is amazing. The grounds around a great for a morning walk..The massages they offer in the spa were good.

The staff is very unhappy and often argues in front of the guests. The place looks old and tired. As good as the food was at the tavern, there are three little dogs that belonged to the owner of the hotel or to someone from the upper management, dogs were super cute and always around but were roaming freely in the restaurant. One urinated under a table and no one did a thing about it. I wish I saw this my first night not the last and would have certainly dinned elsewhere. Great walking trails around the hotel but littered with trash.

Great spot in Velingrad

We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and given a welcome drink and explanation of facilities. Facilities were great. We needed more time to take full advantage. Unique room with round bed. Coffee facilities. Parking.

Our jacuzzi shot out dirty black stuff from the jets. Not sure if there are filters that needed to be cleaned. A bit off putting. The bed needs proper pillows not the round cushions that other people have used.

I also really appreciated the convenient location — close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

It was supposed to be a very special long weekend... Thankfully, it was just this.

The staff were, on the whole, very helpful, although it took some time to get the jacuzzi sorted out. Radoslav was cool. Nikol was great.

The information on the website made me think there was a private pool in the Gracia suite, but this actually referred to the jacuzzi.

I wouldn't recommend it

The location and the park, which is also badly maintained like everything else.I'm sorry for the inherent wealth of the city.

The building is old and depreciated,dirty and expensive for the services they offer, the lifeguard on the beach is cynical and arrogant, the staff only care about the tip.I had expectations but was disappointed.

Nice hotel, but the service and the cleanness need to be better.

The SPA is small. The pool didn't meet our expectations. The Sauna was not as hot, as should be. The Steambath was under construction. Breakfast was relatively good. The room was nice, but not very clean, the spare sheets in the wardrobe were used! Bathroom a little worn.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The building is very old and needs refurbishment badly. The decor of the reception and room are really old school. The spa was not great. The sauna and steam room were filthy. The restaurant was overpriced and the staff were not very friendly. The food was ok, but the starters came after the mains.

Very nice stay!

Very we’ll come and clean hotel with very nice outdoor facilities for kids as well swimming pools outside and inside the hotel, including great breakfast! A bit disappointed in GYM facilities watt close Sunday.
