Overall, everything was good except for the swimming pool experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the food was good with a nice variety of options to choose from.

The swimming pools were noticeably colder and less clean on Sunday compared to Saturday, which was disappointing.

Nice view, location and pool area, unfriendly staff

A lot of pools with various water temperatures. Spacious and clean room, with a nice view. Food was, in general, tasty.

This hotel is not particularly friendly towards foreign tourists. Many staff members were unable to communicate with us in basic English. I had to use ChatGPT to translate the poolside menu and point to items in order to place an order. It wasn’t until the third or fourth day that one staff member finally offered us an English menu. While the hotel is clean, it feels quite outdated in terms of overall appearance and atmosphere. One night, I opened a wine bottle from the minibar only to realize it had most likely been consumed by a previous guest and refilled with water. This is absolutely unacceptable for a five-star hotel. Such things should be checked thoroughly before new guests arrive. I paid for the bottle and chose not to argue, as disputing a minibar charge was not how I wanted to spend my vacation. I also found it very disappointing that during dinner (we were on half-board), no complimentary water was provided. The water dispenser that is freely available at breakfast is covered in the evening, forcing guests to purchase water. This policy was never communicated to us, and in all our previous five-star hotel experiences with meal plans included, water was always complimentary. As a result, one night, a waiter confronted us, claiming we had left the night before without giving our room number so they could charge us for the water. Due to the language barrier, it was difficult to understand what he meant, and the situation felt unnecessarily tense. I found his attitude somewhat rude and intimidating — especially for my children. Finally, the children’s playground was extremely small and not at all as advertised in the photos, which was a major letdown for my kids. Overall, despite the beautiful view, peaceful location, and the lovely indoor and outdoor pool areas, we couldn’t shake the feeling that we simply didn’t belong there. This is not what one would expect from a 5 stars hotel

One of the pools was under construction that was not mentioned at time of booking. The Spa facility’s were not Woking as all the different steam rooms were not working. Had a massage which was ok but booking it was hard as receptionist was as if she did not want to serve me as I was English.

Superb

It was a nice stay. The room, food and service were over my expectations. The pools are clean and warm. Kids friendly. The spa is diverse and there always was free space and sunbeds to stay.

Unfortunately, the second bed was of poor quality and kids felt uncomfortable to sleep in it. It was hard, wavy and very narrow for 2 people. Another disappointment is smoking in common areas and the worst - at the balconies, when all the smoke is coming to your room and you have nothing to do with it... Just suffocating.

Superb

Great customer service, rooms spacious and renovated, quiet and the view was nice. Great food, also the live music at dinner time was very nice. Spa area pretty good and does not feel crowded.

Outdoor pools were under construction when we visited in beginning of July and we could not enjoy them. Bathroom could be renovated. Children club is not good enough for small children - although renovated, there is only one soft play and absolutely no toys, so our 2.5 yo did not have much to play with.
