Disappointing night in Velingrad

The host lady was helpful and quick to reply

There was a sewage smell in the bathroom, which was so strong and so poignant that it was impossible to use it so it felt like we had no sink or toilet. We literally used the portable toilet for the kids when needed and brushed teeth in the restaurant where we ate:) The heating didn't work properly, but we were given a small portable heater. The level of cleanliness was disappointing. The kids ran around in socks and those got so dirty by the time I brought the luggage up that I just threw them away. We were informed that the jacuzzi and sauna didn't work.

The Sky Garden is amazing place offering beautiful view of the city, jacuzzi, sauna, great breakfast, comfortable and clean accommodation. Maria is wonderful - so helpful and chatty. nearby you can find some mineral water taps - recommend it ! will return for the hotel again

Peaceful and relaxing...

I really liked how we were greeted and taken care of by the staff, they were so kind and pleasant, always smiling. The jacuzzi on the rooftop is a really nice touch to bring the experience to a higher level, really nice. The room is comfortable and we were able to rest peacefully.

Maybe including cereals, like oats, and some soy based beverage for breakfast would be nice. In general, it's good but a bit heavy to start the day.

A great spot to relax that's easily accessible by the narrow gauge train

Everything. The breakfast was great. The rooftop jacuzzi and lounge area was fabulous. Maria was a great host. She made sure everything was working well for us.

The wifi was slow and spotty at times. However, there was so much great relaxing stuff to do that we really did not need it.

Maria - the host - was absolutely kind and helpful. She gave some recommendations of things to do in the area, helped me organize a small surprise for the anniversary of our friends, offered us a breakfast and upgraded one of the rooms without extra charge. Definitely recommend the place.

A lovely place in Velingrad

A great place to stay at! A really friendly host, she provided us with an extra heater for the little one and also secured a parking spot. Oh, and also shared her lovely eco-friendly ideas for improvements to the building. The terrace is wonderful - amazing views and a jacuzzi where you can enjoy the winter air and snow. Can't wait to visit again!

The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming. They saved us breakfast because we overslept and made sure that our experience was great. The studio room was clean and very comfortable, and had everything that we need. We will definitely visit again.

I love it! ❤️ The location is wonderful, clean and communicative. The hostess was very kind and friendly. We had a great time, loved the jacuzzi on the roof, definitely the vacation was amazing at this place.

Pleasant

The owner was very king and polite. Relatively quiet location, close to park Kleptuza. A nice spacious balcony with a good view towards the mountains and the main street.

Free toiletries as per facilities’ description was kind of misleading, since only a bottle of liquid hand soap was present in the bathroom. The room was supposedly equipped with an air-condition, though the present bench-top device only generated air with unpleasant smell. Only a single roll of toilet paper was provided to 2 adults spending 4 days in the room. We were provided with a set of white towels, however one of them was covered in huge holes (extremely used-torn material) and brown stains. Overall a bit dirty room (stains on curtains and windows). A WiFi service was only working during the first night of our stay, after which no connection was possible. The outer handle of the door balcony had a loose-hanging screw.
