OK hotel for a short stay (1 night) with a nice restaurant
I was in room 105, it was clean. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Nice options for breakfast. There were 9 soups and 15 hit meals freshly cooked on their lunch menu! In general the restaurant is very nice and has a beautiful garden. Service is also excellent.
The room was a bit worn out. The Carpet and the curtains carried deeply absorbed cigarettes smell. You climb a narrow staircase to get to the room. The shower head had a water filter on it with some old old charcoal (?) pearls which made it look dirty. There was a constant AC noise coming from outside, so I had to keep the windows closed the entire time.

Nice hotel with excellent facilities, great value for your money. The best bit by far is the restaurant - miles better than one would expect in a hotel at this level. They've got an economy daily menu apart from the exquisite specialties available. Ask for some of the local staples. Clean rooms, polite staff, solid quality overall. The narrow streets in the area can be tough to park on, so the convenient (if somewhat small) hotel car park just outside of the building is a bliss.
No particular objections, unless you mind the fact that the hotel isn't located centrally in downtown Velingrad. That didn't bother us at all, so don't let it put you off either.
