Mostly disappointing

Almost nothing, mostly disappointing

Where to begin with.. -when reservation was made I was asked to pay half of the amount in advance via bank account, which was uncomfortable and time consuming. If they want it in advance it could be just taken out from my card. -Hotel is supposed to be 4 stars but lack parking so we had to park on the street behind, which was also not nice. -Most disappointing was the breakfast. Again for 4* hotel the choice was super small and not even tasty. The scrambled eggs looked like vomit (I regret I forgot to take a picture, I’ve never seen such ones before). We didn’t even bother to go for breakfast for the rest of the stay. -Pillow was super high and uncomfortable, the shower was leaking from the connection part between the head and rubber, so not complete pressure. -We couldn’t get a massage as the massage therapist is working with other hotels and it is not present there all the time. 4* Spa hotel without own massage therapist… -Had to check out earlier (7:30am) and the person on reception was security guy, so he couldn’t issue an invoice for my stay - again annoying. it was not communicated beforehand and when checking-in they told me to get the invoice later. -Minibar was almost empty - coke, fanta, water. Not enough for 4* hotels. -In total really not worth value for money (250€/3 nights). The hotel is totally not for 4*, not sure how they managed to get those stars.

The staff were very helpful and polite, the hotel is walking distance from the center of the town and is relatively new. The room, the pool and the spa facilities were clean. The food for breakfast was very delicious, especially the tomatoes.

We wish the hotel had an outdoor pool.

Noisy. Manager was very impolite.

The SPA area was okay.

We had to leave a day early due to an issue with some remarkably loud noises from the room above. After pointing out the issue several times, we ended up talking to the manager, who hadn't done anything about it (since our first complaint 2 days before that), then was extremely impolite and didn't offer us any way to reimburse us. What's more, he charged us the full amount of money for the stay, claiming "there is no way to return any money". The hotel was very noisy in general - vacuuming early in the morning, room landline telephones ringing, all of which could be heard inside the room loud enough to wake you up. The included breakfast in the restaurant didn't have big diversity.

When we entered the room, it smelled of cigarettes, it had been smoked a while ago. The bathroom was dirty, and not once did the housekeeping come by to clean the room, change the towels, and throw out the trash. * The food was a big disappointment - the breakfast consisted of exactly three dishes, the same was with the dinner. There was no variety, the food was over for the first hour and then there was no fresh food or drink at all. I won’t comment the quality of the food * The hotel doesn’t deserve 4* at all and it’s not acceptable. Definitely we won’t visit the hotel next time and won’t recommend it to anybody.

A quiet birthday weekend with my better half

The hotel is at a nice walking distance from the station (both bus and railway). The rooms are adequate with comfortable beds. Breakfast is nothing to write home about but it gets the job done. The spa is quite nice and the pool is pleasant.
