OK if you are on a budget.

This is probably the cheapest spa hotel in Veligrad. The rooms where a good size and clean. The food in the restaurant was mainly good. There is disabled parking at the rear avoiding the many steps but you have to ask for it.

The towels smelt bad. The swimming pool is small more of a roman bath but the water was hot. The room was very dark. Only one bed lamp working and one small on the wall. The waitress we had on the Saturday night was rude and angry, my wife asked for ice cream and a Capuchino coffee for desert and was told they had neither so she ordered the melba which arrived with two scoops of ice cream. Only had one reciept for her told us the internet was down I complained saying I needed a reciept which she brought straight away.

Good but would not repeat

We loved the scenery, the views are beautiful. We enjoyed very much the fact that we had two separate rooms in our apartment and two separate toilets. The bathrooms were in very good condition. Keep in mind that we were in the *newer* part of the hotel.

The spa needs renovation, the ceiling is peeling off. The rooms and hotel corridora also need refurbishing as the wallpapers are peeling off, too. Some of the staff were unfriendly.

An okay place to go when you are tight on budget.

The spa zone- big, warm and clean outdoor pool. There is also a shallow heated indoor pool, a sauna and steam room that are all free to use for guests. The food was tasty. The view is nice. There is a paid game area with billiard, table tennis, air hockey and more which was fun. They offer different types of massages, we didn’t manage to have any as they were fully booked. The complex is very large and spacious. Their prices are fair.

Overall the complex needs an upgrade. The view from outside is not flattering. The room was pretty basic with peeling bathroom door and old towels/bathrobes. On our last night at the restaurant we were asked for a reservation, we were never informed prior that we needed to make a reservation. Our order took very long, appetizer came together with main meal and all the food was cold. The lady waiter was rude and forgot some of our order. Music was too loud in the restaurant you can barely have a conversation.

The breakfast is one and the same all 5 days I was there. The outdoor pool 3 days was not working because of prophylactics. It wasn't announced before.

We have great time in Kamena, they improve some things compare to our last visit.

The apartment was good, compare to the price. Food in the restaurant was delicious.

There were holes in our bath robes. The bath wasn’t so clear.

I would not passionately recommend it but it's kind of good value for money.

There's a pool inside with special water and you cannot swim or stay more than 25 minutes (not recommended). The outside pool is too small for the capacity of the hotel and gets crowded.

The hotel is around 4km away from the city center so it is kind of far away from everything.

I would go somewhere else - old, shabby place.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the room was split into a living room and bedroom which was interesting.

Quite a lot here. - No Wifi for two days, front desk didn't seem to care - radiator dial broken, could not turn it off - lots of mould on ceiling in pool hall - carpets old and stained - Broken and cracked stairs leading to main entrance - how does anyone with a pram or wheelchair manage? - Room got incredible bright in the early morning, thin curtains - Restaurant tables dirty - Shower room has no cabinet, so its a wetroom. - Shabby decor from decades ago - Not good value for money at all. Worth about half of what we paid.

It's one of the most successful balneocomplex

water pool outside is great with an amazing view to mountains. Inner pool is fine if you're in the placebo-style water treatment. Sauna/jakuzzi nice. Staff is very friendly, helpful and just nice simple people like you. Location and views are crazy. Switzerland for a poor man BIG ROOMS / 2 ROOMS IN apt. AND THEY HAVE A BEST FOREST IN BULGARIA

well nuff saif but you have to realize it's Soviet-style and full Soviet Era still could be easily seen via the new colours. as for me i like it.
