Easy parking, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, and good WiFi/internet.
Note that this hotel is on the side of a mountain. It's a 30 minute walk into Trier city, and the walk back is up a very steep hill. 'Mountain ' view rooms just look onto a hillside with trees with no view at all. Try and get a city view room at the front

Peaceful location overlooking the city. Easy to get to by bus or a brisk walk uphill. Breakfast was good despite hotel not having a kitchen. Great city views.
Few toiletries in the bathroom. Bar of soap and shampoo only maybe? You had to ask reception for a kettle and buy your own tea, coffee and milk.

The heating system is a little outdated.

The location is wonderful; the staff are very good. But the hotel trades on that.
No tea and coffee in rooms. Only one bed made up. Yes, I was alone, but with most 3-star hotels it makes no difference. No choice as to how one uses towels. Breakfast indifferent. Nothing to eat and drink at night. Cheapskate.

Beautiful location, right above Trier, with beautiful view over the city. Good room, good bed, good breakfast.
The hotel was unstaffed in the evening, which also meant we couldn't get a drink anymore.

Good view.
Helpful and friendly staff
We didn't take the breakfast option and we're glad we didn't as it is very over priced for what is provided.
We were charged E5 for a small coffee that was not freshly made.
Room is very small. No tea or coffee facilities in room

The view over Trier from the massive window looking West.
That same window made room very warm at the end of the afternoon and there was no AC available.
truth be told; there was a fan supplied but that could not keep up.

The hotel commands a dominant position over Trier offering fantastic views of the city. It’s in a very peaceful location with plentiful parking. We walked a few times into town (once via the roman amphitheatre) but the walk back finishes with a bit of an uphill climb (but doable if you’re reasonably fit). The hotel has a slightly spartan, almost religious, feel to it, but we were fine with that - we just wanted a quite night’s rest and breakfast. We would choose to stay there again if in Trier.
We were fine with the no-frills aspect of the hotel, but do not expect much more than your regular B&B, which may not appeal to some.

THE VIEWS WERE AMAZING and the surrounding forest area! The access to the city was a nice treat. The food was extensive and delicious, I've seen reviews about the food being limited or average and LET ME TELL YOU, that's false. The food was tasty, good options and solid fare. The room was cozy, the balcony was a nice touch, we were facing the forest and not the city so double check that if you want a forest or city view. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind, I would recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone that wants and appreciates beauty and history.
We wish the bed was a double and not two singles and the pillows were too soft and too few for my husband and I. Otherwise everything was PERFECT!

Quite location our apartment had a lovely view
There is no restaurant only breakfast, we didn’t realise so had to go to the centre to eat. This was fine for us

The view is breathtaking. The staff very friendly.
The hotel is little old but well maintained. During the summer heat, it is too far from the city to walk. We had a car, which made it easy for us. There was ample parking.

Great location on a hill overlooking Trier. Friendly and supportive staff. Well sized room with small balcony, great to watch the sunset over the opposite side of the Moselle valley. Good breakfast with many choices. The hotel also offers a small selection of meals, an easy way to finish a long day sightseeing without having to go back into town.
Missed a fridge in the room.

really friendly staff
- quiet place
- a short walk (around 25 minutes) to the center
- it´s possible to walk to the city even if its´s dark, the way is illuminated
minor thing but maybe more important for other people. The internet connection could be much more improved.

Nit that I’m complaining but the walk from town will tire some people.
