Lovely surroundings. Room was nice. Water was nice to find in the room. The beer we got for free because of not having the room cleaned was much appreciated. Sauna was really good and swimming pool too.
Renovations were ongoing so it was loud during the afternoon. Also one night we heard a lot of noises, as if someone was dragging furniture around. It was really annoying.
A kettle and tea in the room would have been nice.

We really liked the pool, restaurant, and the bar.
Also the vibe was really cozy and comfortable . Also the environment was very lively. The parking was really convinet.
Temprature control should have been in the room. Pillows in the room were not confortable .

Great hotel with restaurant, spa and in the Xmas period some external event anr functions.
The duvet for one person was a size of a napkin. Very, very small. Larger duvet would be welcome, especially in the winter

Staff was exceptional, my wife was sick for a day+, xtra room service was needed and we got it in spades, kudos. Room was dated but super nice, large with a big bathroom and view of the stream/path. Pool and spa was exceptional- for a hotel, way above average. My wife and I used the steam sauna daily, albeit the sick day! There is also an infrared sauna and a shower that had max pressure, sweet! E- charger was complimentary. Restaurant at hotel was very busy and one of the best in the area, great food and service. Terrific location, can walk down stream path, then path where vegetable gardens are located, you come out (after going under 3 road underpass) at the Roman wall, south end. Roughly a 20 min fast walk. Staff spoke English and were super helpful, all smiles, totally enjoyed my stay here.

Pretty little bathroom but this actually is not a large problem.

We were quite disappointed with our stay. The room had no fridge and no kettle, which is unusual for a 4-star hotel. The beds and pillows felt very old and uncomfortable, and there was a strange smell in the room. As other reviews mention, the hotel is indeed old, but the noise level was excessive, especially from the hallway and the door, which should be easy to fix.
Overall, this did not feel like a 4-star experience at all. We expected a lot more based on the rating.

Good food, great beer.
The internet is incredibly weak, a stop on Netflix
or any program I have on my laptop. No elevator to the 3th floor.

Rooms were nice. Breakfast was good. Outdoor area was lovely. The evening meal we had there was lovely. Nice to have use of indoor pool.
Much further than we expected to walk into Trier. Took a while to get drinks on the first evening as the staff were concentrating more on a function that was being held there. I wish the hotel had told us that there was going to be a function with music that could still be heard while we were in bed, we probably would have chosen somewhere else to stay.

Restaurant manager rude! Told us outdoor restaurant was full and it would be a long time to wait for a table. In fact, one patron came up to us after seeing how rude she was and offered us a seat at their table.
Smoking allowed at restaurant was nasty. Many people smoking.

Facilities, food, personnel, and location are amazing. The city center and tourist/historical sites are nearby, making for pleasant walks.

Plenty of free parking, the room was spacious and very clean. The indoor Swimmingpool was pretty nice for a quick splash. Location is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the city center, plus you pass by the Roman Amphitheater and the Baths but theres also buss connections available. Breakfast had plenty of choices.
I travel light so the elevator not reaching the third (top) floor didn't bother me.
The restaurant is super popular and its hard to get a table, you cant book a table for one person through the website, so dont count on being able to have dinner there. Too bad because its easy to see why its so popular. Massages were fully booked as well. Not criticism, but a heads up for other travelers to book early.
My room (317) was south facing and with the black roof it got VERY hot. I am not a person who has an airconditioned home so im used to having not ideal temperatures to sleep in. There was a rotating fan provided and luckily during the night it cooled off somewhat so sleeping with the window open helped a lot in this case. Enough to sleep decently for me. In the middle of summer this room would be uninhabitable.

we had a lovely big room that was specially for people with allergies. No animals had been in room and unlike regular rooms it had wooden floors.
a bit too far from the centre of Trier

The location was very useful for visiting Trier. In the past I had stayed elsewhere but on the last trip 4 years ago I found Blesius Garten by chance and decided to give it a go the next time I came to Trier... then Covid struck, but I kept to my plan.
Sadly I was unable to eat in the restaurant during my stay as one evening it was full, and the next it was shut for a private function. When I return, which I will, I hope to remedy this.

Very comfortable and well-equipped room overlooking the beer garden, which was quiet on the day we arrived. Good, secure parking. Excellent breakfast and a very good restaurant with a good range of regional dishes as well as the usual fare. Easy to get into Trier on the bus or by walking, with several Roman sites directly on the walking route. The hotel has excellent facilities and is well managed with friendly and attentive staff.

The hotel is very quaint and the staff are super friendly! the breakfast buffet had a great selection. Beautiful and quiet location. The restaurant has a nice selection of foods and beverages.
It’s an older place and it’s noticeable by how easy it is to hear people in other rooms. Our bed was extremely squeaky and loud. It was comfortable, but so loud!!

The hotelroom (Blesius Gartenroom) was spacious and cozy decorated
The sraff was helpfull and friendly
seperate aironditioning in the room
Nice tea in the breakfast room
Bring your own teabags for making tea in your own room if you don’t like them herbal teas
Some east-rooms face the beergarden/terras, so can be quite noisy in the evening (cigarette smoke) if you want to leave your window open on a warm evening
Nice beergarden but be warned, the food is way too salty ,but the drinks, wine and beer are good,

Very comfortable and clean room. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff were all very helpful.
Better sound proofing of the rooms (I stayed in 1017). The voices of guests in neighbouring rooms were somewhat intrusive.
