The old lady was unfriendly and unprofessional. She is not qualified to work in a 4star hotel.

Lovely hotel

We booked this hotel very last minute because our previous hotel cancelled our trip. We loved the hotel! The neighborhood is amazing, very quiet, perfect for walking. Lot of wine houses as well. The room was huge and with all the facilities we could wish for. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and they were delicious. We will definitely go back.

Our stay was perfect. We just had the feeling the hotel was a bit understaffed as we waited a bit at reception and at breakfast but it did not ruin our stay.

Quiet, clean and relaxing!!

The jacuzzi tub was excellent!!

The portion of breakfast for the price was a bit smaller than I expected. But the food was definitely fresh.

Not so pleasure stayed

The room was big and clean

When we booked the room, we booked with one baby as a family, we had a suite. But we didn’t write that we need a baby bed (we always bring our own when we go traveling) and I also saw in the children police that wrote “no capacity for extra beds or cribs”. When we went into the room, I saw a baby bed that was very nice and sweet although we brought our own! But in the end the hotel charged the baby bed, and we didn’t get informed about the price to pay, although it not expensive but the feelings of this trip in the end was so bad!

The overpriced breakfast and dinner (We did not eat there). Difficult street parking or far away parking.

Disappointing, slightly misleading pictures.

Based on the pictures displayed in the booking, one would have expected a nice, modern hotel - unfortunately, no such hotel was found on the premises. Restaurant Weinhaus, located on the hotel premises, was a good restaurant.

Noisy room, located directly next to a ventilation shaft of a nearby restaurant. Noise around the room prevented a good night's sleep. Also, strong smell of mold in the hallway - poorly ventilated rooms. The owner appeared surprised to hear all this, curiously enough. Not worth the 155 euros at all.

Nice staff, great food, but the cleanliness needs improvements

Staffs are extremely friendly, and the room was big. The food there is fascinating. Definitely worth a start from Micheline guide. Highly recommend it even without staying overnight.

The room is not as clean as expected. You can find dirt everywhere, even on the heating rack for towels in the shower room. We are happy with rooms and facilities with some age, but cleanliness is definitely a must.

Bad

Location

Bedsheets were dirty. Full of stains and hair. They changed the sheets, but they were still a little dirty. The toilet is not seperate in a room, meaning no privacy at all. The restaurant was closed because of a private party. We were not advised before coming. Needed to walk around the town looking for a place to eat. Breakfast was nice, but extremely overpriced. Overall a very bad experience and no apologies from the staff at all.

No staff there at all on Sunday evening. No staff on Monday morning. No breakfast. Difficult parking.

Excellent stay

It was a very nice experience. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is close to the city center. The restaurant (Weinhaus) was excellent and very tasteful. We were very pleased to have more information about the wine that they are selling, that comes from their own vineyards.

The parking spots are a bit far away from the hotel, and the parking wasn't hardened and was a bit flooded. There was a language barrier with the restaurant staff from the "Weinhaus". Their English was limited and it made the experience a little bit uncomfortable.

Nice hotel, great restaurant!

Exterior design of the facility is great. Even the 'cheap' restaurant provides excellent quality food and service! The 2* restaurant should be even better is what I heard.

The bed is not as comfortable as I'm used to from a 4* hotel. Floor of the room had quite some dust on it. The parking was quite far (about 2 minutes walking. In the rain this is a missed opportunity).

We finally accepted 3rd room due to different circumstances. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and breakfast was expensive compare to what has been offered. Lack of parking place.

Grote moderne kamer maar de recepctioy liet ons te wensen over .

Het was een grote moderne kamer . Ps vergeet ook het stof niet van de lattengordijn niet af te doen, wilden het raam opendoen en er kwam een pak stof afgevlogen.

Het personeel. Toen we aankwamen was er niemand aanwezig, nochtans had ik doorgegeven dat we pas rond 21 u zouden arriveren. Na lang zoeken kwamen we een man tegen van het restaurant en we moesten gelijk een papier invullen wat we wilden eten als ontbijt en ineens was hij weg . We wilden onze wagen bijladen maar de man bleek spoorloos te zijn. We hadden ook gevraagd of we nog iets konden eten ,maar alleen kaas of dessert konden ze ons geven, dus zonder avondeten gaan slapen. De ijskast was ook helemaal leeg. S’morgens was er een receptioniste die ons dan hielp met de auto bij te laden en heel onvriendelijk was waardoor wij helemaal geen fijn gevoel bij hadden. Ons vakantiegevoel was ver te zoeken maar gelukkig werden we wel fijn bediend door een vriendelijke dame die ons ontbijt verzorgde.

Ein toller Aufenthalt in gelungenem Ambiente.

Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen im Weinhaus waren ausgezeichnet. Die Zimmer sind modern und klar eingerichtet was mir sehr zusagt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und ich konnte mich auch mit Frau Becker sehr nett über Weinlagen und Trier unterhalten.

Das Gourmetrestaurant war hervorragend und dazu die passenden vom Weingut selbst erzeugten Weine einfach super!

Dass man das Frühstück vorher bestimmen musste, es gab zu viele Auswahlmöglichkeiten, die gleichzeitig aber auch einschränkten, da ich gerne verschiedene Dinge probieren würde, und die Mengen waren dann zu groß, es würde sich da ein Buffet eher anbieten oder ein Pauschalfrühstück mit Zusatzoptionen

Wir waren enttäuscht

Von außen sieht das Hotel hübsch aus. Das Restaurant ebenfalls.

Lage weit vom Zentrum, unmittelbare Umgebung städtisch und uninteressant. Wenige Parkplätze am Hotel. Ausstattung bzw Qualität des Zimmers /Mobiliars maximal durchschnittlich.

Nicht empfehlenswert

Die Zimmer war sehr schick und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber.

Insgesamt wenig Freundlichkeit, die Dame an der Rezeption ist davon ausgenommen. Der Frühstücksraum war düster und wenig ansprechend. Man musste immer am Vortag Frühstücksart und Uhrzeit festlegen. Leider war am nächsten Morgen noch nichts fertig und am Ende fehlte immer noch ein Teil des Frühstücks ( ich warte noch immer aufs Rührei). An einem Abend fand eine Party in den Restauranträumlichkeiten statt, die erst um 3 Uhr nachts endete. Die Musik und die Bässe liessen einen nicht zur Ruhe kommen. Hierfür gab es keinerlei Entschuldigung.

Gute Lage, top Frühstück, moderne Ausstattung.

Sehr schön gelegenes & modernes Hotel, geräumige Zimmer und top Ausstattung beim Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war einmalig, anstatt ein tristes Buffet gibt es Frühstück á la carte, welches mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet wird. Parken war sehr einfach, späte Anreisen sind auch einfach gemacht. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Ist bei mir gleich bei Google eingespeichert, und an die Kollegen als Tipp weitergegeben.

Das einzige was man bemängeln könnte, sind fehlende Stecker bei den Nachttischen um das Handy/Pad/Laptop zu laden oder benutzen.
