Want secure undercover bike or car parking …… this is the place.

It was exactly as described, yes it’s out of town, but the description tells you that and it’s reflected in the price. Easy to find, we had a spacious and comfortable room, good shower this amazing water pressure. The owner , his wife and the staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We got the bus into Trier, easy to get regular and cheap. The real MASSIVE bonus of this place (especially if you’re travelling by bike), is secure underground parking. So the dog ….. he travels with us and we always book ‘dogs welcome’, but some places just tolerate to get your booking. Nope not here he was made to feel welcome and even sat under our table when we had breakfast. They are welcome on the buses.

Wonderful little hotel in a beautiful and quiet part of Trier

Very nice little hotel in a picturesque and quiet part of Trier. About 12 min walk to local train station (Ehrang Bahnhof /Trier) with about 7 min to go by train to Trier HBF. And about 5 min walk to bus stops (buses 8 and 87 - about 20 min to go to central Trier). Wonderful host. I liked the breakfast (maybe it was a bit basic - ham, cheese, egg, butter, bread, orange juice and coffee - but the quality of the food was great). Good wifi

Check-in time is only till 18.00 - which can be a problem for late arrival - but maybe it's possible to negotiate this issue. And a room was a bit cold (beginning of October)

Great place from where to discover Trier and the Mosel region.

Plenty to eat for breakfast and a great opportunity to talk the owner who is very generous with advice and tips. We rented some bicycles from the hotel and rode along the Mosel for a day. That was very nice. Bikes were good and easy to ride. The place is a bit away from Trier itself, but the buses 8 or 87 (evening's) took us to Trier very easily.

Host was friendly, showed us good hike routes around, breakfast was good, we had a 3 person room and it was with 2 seperate rooms.

Was quite a trip to the center of Trier, but the bus was a good option to travel to the center.

Overnight near Trier

Very convenient for an overnight stop near the autoroute to Luxembourg. Basic facilities, but clean & comfortable with a good breakfast and free parking.

A bit odd having a bathroom sink on its own and separate from the WC/shower space, but really no concern on a 1 night stay. Indeed for that reason there was nothing to dislike.

Haus am berg is well situated, offers convenient parking and is very clean. The owner provides breakfast and gives excellent suggestions on things to do in and around Trier. We had a great stay of four days and recommend it.

Freundlicher Wirt mit Tipps für die Umgebung, gutes und ausreichendes Frühstück, kostenlose (große) Tiefgarage. auch Garage für Fahrrad. Ruhig in der Nebenstraße gelegen, sauber und ordentlich, ALDI circa einen km entfernt. Buslinie an der Hauptstraße.

Matratzen in diesem Zimmer etwas weich, aber ok. Einzelbetten als Doppelbett, aber es ist Urlaub und nicht zu Hause.

Jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel!

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, die Betten einfach traumhaft! Der Wird war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab einen Garagenplatz fürs Auto. Das Frühstück war überreichlich und lecker! Es war super, dass auch der Hund willkommen war.

Nichts

30 Grad Anreise mit dem Motorrad, kein Kühlschrank, kein Getränk man war gezwungen um 20 Uhr noch irgendwo was zu trinken aufzutreiben. Da es auch kein Essen gab musste man schauen wo man noch was zu Essen bekommt, da Trier wesentlich weiter weg liegt als angegeben. Frühstück war in Ordnung, man musste halt nehmen was man vorgesetzt bekam. Das Frühstücksei kam dann nach dem Frühstück dazu noch kochend Heiß. Weder das Ambiente noch der Service konnte überzeugen.

Ideaal voor een weekendje weg.

We vonden het heel handig dat we de wagen en de fietsen in een afgesloten garage konden plaatsen. Trier ligt op 7 km afstand en het romerpfad is een hele leuke wandeling in de buurt. Het ontbijt is voldoende en de gastheer heel vriendelijk. Geen airco maar desondanks hebben we goed geslapen want de bedden waren voor ons perfect.

Een kleine frigo op de kamer zou van pas komen
