We absolutely loved the city of Appenzell and this sweet Swiss hotel! Hotel Säntis has so much charm and was one of our favorite stays during our 12-day trip through Switzerland.
The room was a really good size, although the bathroom was a little small. Nothing unbearable, though, and overall the room was very comfortable.
The location is perfect—right in the middle of town, making it incredibly easy to walk around and explore Appenzell. The restaurant was also great for dinner, but the breakfast buffet was incredible! Everything was very fresh, and the setup was excellent.
And the staff deserves a special shoutout. They were incredibly kind and welcoming—probably the nicest staff we encountered during our entire 12 days in Switzerland!
We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay at Hotel Säntis again when we return to Appenzell. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a charming Swiss hotel in the heart of town!
