Perfect. Our favorite place of all during 2 weeks in Switzerland.

The breakfast was incredibly good. Chef accommodated us for an early departure. Super friendly with directions and suggestions. Beautiful views and very quiet but close enough to walk into town.

Delicious breakfast, Friendly host, Great place

The owner(Robert) came to pick us up from the train station and he is very friendly. Hotel is near to the Appenzell train station(600m) We got an early check-in and late check-out. Delicious breakfast buffet. Spacious bathroom with a bath tub. Large balcony with a beatifull city view.

We were very happy with the stay over all.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was lovely, BUT we were traveling by train and foot. The climb up the hill to the hotel was difficult. We could have taken a taxi each time, but that would have increased the cost. The owner did drive us to the train station at the end of our stay.

There was nothing they could have changed. They're on a high hill, so access by foot is challenging.

Awesome hotel rooms with mountain and city view, very friendly Staff

It is a very beautiful hotel with top of mountain view and you can see the complete city from your balcony.Rooms are very clean and big enough for couples.Food was very tasty we tried local grill fish and other items.The staff and the owners are very helpful and very friendly. I really had a pleasant stay and hopefully when we go again we choose the same place.

La grandeur de la chambre et de la salle de bain . Une terrasse confortable avec vue impressionnante sur Appenzell Le super petit déjeuner buffet , même des œufs à la demande . Un immense aquarium dans la salle à manger , avec de merveilleux poissons d’eau de mer ! Splendide. Lieu Très calme .

Ruhige Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf Appenzell.

Ruhige Lage und ein schöner Balkon mit gemütlichen Sitzmöbeln. Von der Terrasse hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf Appenzell. Man ist auch schnell im Ort, wegen dem Aufstieg zurück langsamer als hin. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die Bettbezüge waren mir für die sommerlichen Temperaturen zu warm.
