I loved all the locally sourced cheeses, breads and meats. It was presented very well and was very environmentally friendly. Lucas was very thorough showing us the amenities and helpful in suggesting locations to dine.

Highly recommended as a great place to stay and enjoy the very best of Appenzell

The host Lukas is passionate about the service he provides. The property has been purpose built to be a B&B so has many little touches that makes it a home away from home, with a sunny lounge and bar area for guests to relax, enjoy a drink and a chat. The rooms are modern and well appointed, sparkling clean and the breakfast is gourmet, fresh and locally sourced. My husband wasn’t feeling well and Lukas was very accommodating, which we appreciated greatly. Lukas has an Atelier with handmade, gourmet goodies his brother & he have crafted. Location was great 2mins walk to the train station or 3mins into town.

Lovely and peaceful stay. Breakfast was wonderful with everything fresh. Incorporating local goat products into our stay was a nice touch. Received very helpful tips to enhance our stay. Proximity to train station was very convenient.

Very kind owners, who take care of each detail with care. Very nice and clean place, comfortable room, we had a very good sleep. Breakfast was great, not only in quantity (yes, there were a lot of options), but also in quality, because Lucas took care of each detail. We loved our stay, and will surely stay there again , if we ever come back to Appenzell.

Exceptional

Beautiful styling and the Easter decorations were gorgeous. Host Lukas was so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is fabulous, local cheese and meats and the excellent home made bircher muesli was a treat.

A bit of a walk to the centre of town but really not that long (and flat) and you get to see houses we're people live which is interesting. Near the train line but train noise didn't bother me at all. Go stay there :)

An absolutely fantastic place for a holiday or a stop-over. Nice comfortable room, spacious and clean. Amazing breakfast with delicious local delicacies! The cheeses and meats were fantastic, good coffee as well!

The only thing, which is missing is maybe tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, a kettle and some cups would be handy, especially with late check in.

Such a perfect combination of the friendly atmosphere of family pension with professional services.

The breakfast was delicious, as well as dinner which we had there, both full of homemade products or products from the region. The accommodation was very beautiful, comfortable, and pleasant, The owner was a perfect host, he also gave us some tips on where to go for a hike and his recommendation was great.

Foi uma surpresa para nós, sob todos os aspectos, a hospedagem no hotel. Fomos atendidos diretamente com o proprietário, o Lucas, que foi muito atencioso e simpatissíssimo! Café da manhã maravilhoso, com itens fabricados por eles, e por sinal, deliciosos!!! Possuem poucos quartos, infelizmente. Tentamos ficar mais um dia, mas não foi possível. Estavam todos reservados. Ficamos num quarto familiar, cujo tamanho é satisfatório. Tudo muito limpinho, organizado e arrumadinho. Nota dez!!!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Neuhof. Schon beim Betreten spürt man die familiäre und liebevolle Atmosphäre – hier wird Gastfreundschaft wirklich gelebt. Das modern gestaltete Zimmer hat alles was man braucht , und war auch makellos sauber . Besonders begeistert hat uns das Frühstück: eine herrliche Auswahl an hausgemachten Spezialitäten und frischen Produkten aus der heimischen Region – einfach ein Genuss! Vor allem das hausgemachte Knäckebrot und das Moschtbrökli sind sehr zu empfehlen. Man merkt in jedem Detail, mit wie viel Herz und Sorgfalt dieses Haus geführt wird. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können den Neuhof wärmstens empfehlen.

Möttes av den mycket trevliga värden som visade runt på boendet. Rent och snyggt, enkel men praktisk inredning. Drickakyl med öl och andra drycker. Mycket bra frukost med bl.a närtillverkade ostar, skinkor och korvar etc. Värden kom även och frågade om man ville ha t.ex. ägg och bacon eller liknande. Gratis parkering.

Ingen Ac. hade behövts då det var över 30 grader C ute.

Die Perle im Appenzell 🫶

Der Aufenthalt fühlte sich an wie zu Hause. Wir fühlten uns herzlich empfangen und gut umsorgt. Das Frühstück war genau nach unserem Geschmack, selbstgemachte Produkte wie Käse, Wurst, Konfi, Müesli und Brot vom Hof. Ebenfalls stellen sie aus molke kosmetikprodukte her und SCHOGGI🤩

Extraordinario, lugar de ensueño !

La calidez de Lucas nuestro anfitrión, el desayuno típico Suizo con productos elaborados ahí mismo, instalaciones y ubicación de 10. Estacionamiento gratuito y todo lo conoces caminando. Un poco elevado de precio (pero así es Suiza) pero lo vale completamente, sin duda regresaremos ahí. Appenzell y sus alrededores de las mejores imágenes que puedes tener en tu mente, para conocer la Suiza tradicional.

Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist ruhig und doch zentral. Und das Frühstück mit vielen selbstgemachten Spezialitäten aus der Region war top.

Das WC/Dusche ist sehr klein, Lavabo befindet sich im Zimmer. Hat uns aber nicht gestört.
