Very comfortable and nice.

The location, the furniture, the igiene.

Everything was nice, except that the walls were quite thin and it happened that in the morning we could hear people chatting in the corridor outside our door, and kids crying. It was ok, considering we had to get up anyways, but on Sunday we were planning to sleep a bit longer and it wasn´t possible.

Comfortable stay at il Cantuccio the communication was good. Close to Lucca walled city and near amenities.

It is in a great location easy walk into walled city of Lucca.

The directions to the property were not clear and it took a long time to find the correct place. It would be helpful if you included turn into the street with the sign Kinky - there is also a shop Adams which would be a useful landmark .It could do with some additional electric sockets . The Tv did not have a guide in other languages and so we could not use it

Comfortable and convenient for the old town.

The location was easy to find and had parking on site. It was a secure room in a pleasant villa but so convenient for walking into the old town. Up the road, turn left, through the underpass and the city walls are right in front of you.

Coffee and tea in a glass..... I would have liked a mug or cup with a handle.

A great bolt hole during a busy working week in Lucca!

Comfortable, clean and homely, and cantuccini was a nice touch!

Sometimes you could hear neighbouring rooms, and could've done with some more tea and coffee

Good location, close enough for walking to Lucca center, and leaving the car parked on location.

Didn’t like the toilet outside the room, to be reached through half-floor steps. For breakfast, only a kettle (and no water tap in the room) two glasses and some instant coffee and tea.

This place was easy to find and was perfect for exploring the city.

The location was perfect for exploring Lucca on foot. Host was very helpful in getting us checked in. Though there was outdoor noise (trains constantly passing just meters from the house) the windows had good sound-proofing to enhance sleeping.

There was a tea/coffee kettle in the room. To use it, we had to place it on the floor since there was no electrical outlet near the shelf where it was located. One thing, which the host was kind enough to remedy for us, was the subject of the lack of proper drinking glasses or cups. The paper "cups" were totally useless for the purpose of drinking hot coffee or tea, and using paper cups for drinking wine is just wrong. I would have expected a nice place like this to do better than what one would normally get in a cheap motel in the U.S.

We had a nice stay, it’s in walking distance to the old town. The owners are very friendly. Parking options at the hotel were good

Lovely guesthouse. The room was clean and comfortable. Room had fridge and kettle making our stay easier. Quiet area and close to city walls. Met the owner a few times and he was very friendly. Secure courtyard to park my bike. I would definitely stay again.

Spacious clean oom. Kettle & tea facilities & water provided. Quiet area. Good open parking in garden area (only €2.50 per night. Nice little bar /eatery nearby across the road if you don't want to go within the walls every night ( closed Tuesdays). Lucca is a fabulous place to visit

Very fast and clear communication. The room was very clean. Definitely also check out the restaurants and stores outside the city walls of Lucca, some of which were just a five minute walk from where we were. Almost no tourists.

The matrass was quite hard (for us this was good!) but it might not be your cup of tea. A little difficult to find the exact location, Google maps did not give the correct location with the address provided on Booking.com and il Cantuccio was not noted as a 'location' on Google maps either. We used the hairdresser that was around the corner to navigate.

The most unexpected and wonderful discovery we accidental tourists had on a recent trip to Italy was our few days in Luca. Hosts Stefano & Carla were warm, welcoming and memorable. They went above and beyond in every way and we count our days with them as the highlight of our trip. We’d never heard of Luca so cycled around ancient walls and learned a little history with Italian families and European tourists. Immaculate, comfortable & safe. Huge thanks from Giovanni (John) & Petrina. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🙏

I would definitely stay here again

Breakfast wasn’t included but cafe around the corner was great. Staff and owners were always around if needed anything, just give them a call. Room was very clean and comfortable. It was only 10 min walk into old lucca. Location was great

amazingly friendly owners. and even though one of the owner’s English wasn’t perfect he was so clear in his words and communicative that you couldn’t misunderstand a thing a refrigerator and ac in the room clean large bathroom private parking a small garden in front of the house with chairs and tables the location is quite close to the city walls (10minutes)

Quiet room outside Lucca old city wall.

Whole building is for B&B / boarding. Very clean and fresh room. Helpful hints from family (who live off site but very near). Cafe Nelli is nearby, as is E3 bus stop to Pisa.

Hot hot summer weather …… so a shame that we were not able to run the AC in the room. Modest fan provided on request. Location is outside of old town so allow for 15 min walk to the walls.

Ho segnalato via whatsapp un problema di illuminazione ma non è stato risolto, i riscaldamenti erano al minimo e un termosifone non funzionava, ma non l'ho neanche segnalato.

Soggiorno piacevolissimo. Lucca è una chicca!!!

Struttura pulita, accogliente, arredamenti perfetti per la tipologia di soggiorno. All'interno c'è tutto, letti confortevoli, zona estremamente tranquilla. La posizione è strategica dall'autostrada e per accedere al borgo dentro le mura. Posto auto davanti alla struttura. Consigliatissimo!

Bellissima esperienza

È stata un'esperienza al di sopra di ogni mia più rosea aspettativa. Grande cortesia e disponibilità dei proprietari, che ancora ringrazio per l'attenzione nei miei confronti. La posizione è tranquilla e si è rivelata anche strategica sia per visitare la città, che per raggiungere la stazione dei treni. Una breve passeggiata e si è dentro le mura. La stanza spaziosa, luminosa, pulita, accogliente e soprattutto un letto comodissimo. Che dire davvero un gran bel soggiorno.

La struttura è veramente molto bella si vede che è stata recentemente ristrutturata nei minimi dettagli. La stanza era veramente bella così come la posizione non dispiace a pochi passi è presente una pasticceria in cui è possibile fare colazione. Pur non essendo all’interno delle mura a pochi passi si è alla stazione ferroviaria e in centro a Lucca. Sicuramente se tornerò a Lucca soggiornerò presso questa struttura.

Wir haben unseren Besuch nach einer Nacht abgebrochen.

Lage: geringe Entfernung zur Altstadt (ca. 15 Minuten fußläufig) Parkmöglichkeit auf dem Privatgrundstück konnte für 2,50€ pro Tag/Nacht vorab reserviert werden.

Wir hatten das Zimmer Lavanda: - im Badezimmerfenster war ein Loch (von außen aufgrund eines Vorfalls/Unfalls) über das wir im Voraus nicht informiert wurden (was uns die Sicherheit des Bereichs in Frage stellen ließ) - Flecken an den Wänden im Schlafzimmer (Schimmel?) - Schimmel breitete sich im Badezimmer im Fugenwerk aus - die genaue Lage der Unterkunft war nicht klar und wurde erst nach einem Telefonanruf bekannt gegeben - schmutzige Toilette (Haare auf dem Toilettensitz und dem Toilettendeckel trotz Hygienesiegel) - Handtücher und Bettwäsche fühlten sich feucht/klamm an - quietschender Bettrahmen - muffig - Zimmer sieht allgemein ungepflegt aus (insbesondere im Vergleich zu den Bildern auf Booking.com) - wir fühlten uns in dieser Situation allein gelassen, da sich keine Person mit Autorität am Standort befand (Selbst-Check-in)

Bien ubicado para visitar la ciudad, pero el entorno es algo ruidoso por la proximidad de la carretera y las vías del tren. Ordenado y limpia la habitación resulta agradable, aunque algo ajustada. La comunicación con la propiedad (digital) perfecta.

No soy muy partidario de alojamientos de "self-service". Ya sabía al reservar que era así, pero me gusta tratar con personas.

À notre arrivée nous constatons que les toilettes et la salle de bain se trouve à l’étage inférieur.J.ai appelé la propriétaire pour changer de chambre car j’ai 76ans et la nuit je vais souvent aux toilettes. Elle m’a répondu que tout était complet ! Il faudrait prévenir les clients…Avant. Le matin suivant nous avons téléphoné à la dame qui n’a pas évidemment pas répondu, nous sommes donc reparti sans passer la dernière nuit payée d’avance .C’est la première fois que j’ai un problème sur BOOKING.COM.

Nous n'avons pas eu de petit-déjeuner. Cependant, le confort est correct. Dommage que l'établissement soit à proximité de la voie férrée et de la route à grande circulation. Etablissement propre et correct. Le parking devant l'établissement est un gros avantage.
