It was what we needed for our trip.

It needs a to provide tea towels, hand towels, bath mats and the curtain rail replacing in one bedroom. As you couldn't draw the curtains without it falling off and nearly knocking you out (as I found out). Possibly sort the flooring out, and when showering the bath actually doesn't feel sturdy. I weigh 80kgs it felt as it would give way.

Exceptional

I thank the host for letting us stay on short notice. We needed a place to crash for the evening and it did the job perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to stay in Manchester for any period of time. Having the ability to park on a driveway was a nice touch too.

Not Close to City, Was Dirty, Bad Facilities, Didn’t feel safe.

doesn’t look like photos. isn’t close to city. area does not feel safe We arrived post the time we were told, we asked for early check in, it wasn’t allowed. It was not clean, one bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all, one bedroom had stained bedding. I asked for cleaner to come back, and to be fair they did, but said they went to hospital the day before which was the reason. I still don’t know to this day why we weren’t told this before arriving. There is a hole in one wall, and blood stains which are apparently from a previous tenant. it isn’t close to the city at all. it’s about a 40 minute walk the sofa springs are all broken so it’s nearly not able to sit on. we were left with one toilet roll in each bathroom for a week. no kitchen roll, but a kitchen holder. bars on windows, not a safe area. by far worst stay I’ve had in ages. all we were offered was a late check out. it should’ve been a full refund.

Comfy is not the word we would use to describe this place... It was not clean inside or out - an open sanitary pad greeted us on the path to the house, the garden was strewn with litter and junk (discarded Asda shopping basket), the toilet had hair, dust and dead bugs on the floor. It was clear no one had attended in a while before our arrival. There was not enough cutlery for the amount of people it sleeps, so our family could not eat breakfast or have a coffee together. We gave them the opportunity to put it right but they failed to send someone to clean or bring cutlery during the time frame we could accommodate and didn't communicate well around this. The house itself is in a terrible state of repair, not looked after or tended to, the floors are so uneven that we tripped on some of the floorboards, and worryingly, some of the doors appear to have been punched in places. In a bad part of town. It's clear that they don't care about the house or the guests and just want to make quick cash. Spend a bit more and go somewhere nicer

We need to find another booking agent, which can guarantee a certain minimum quality accommodation.

The house was big enough for a family of four. Decent beds. Probably the first time we rent an apartment through Booking which actually has trash bins for the guests. The location was not bad as such, but impossible to book a taxi from it and very unreliable public transport (the bus arrived sometimes few minutes too early or not at all).

Only one toilet out of three fully useable (very loose toilet seats), the main bathroom was impossible to lock. The garden was filthy with a shed hours away from falling completely down and full of cigarette stubs and other rubbish. The effluent from the kitchen sink landed on the patio, which was not pretty. The boiler broke down on the third day. We tried to call the owner, but got only an answering machine.
