Great apartment with stunning city views

Really clean with everything you could need including a well stocked kitchen and washing machine so great if you are staying for more than a few days

It was a bit hard to find and tedious picking up keys 10 minutes away as we had heavy cases with us that couldn’t be left at the property itself.

Perfect location for where I needed to be. The finish of the apartment is beautiful and the view is amazing.

Perfectly convenient city break

The location was perfect, also the provisions in the room ensured we didn't need to go and buy basics such as dishwasher tablets, washing tablets etc - i thought it was very well equipped. The staff were also very responsive & helpful.

Having to pick the keys up from a different location - would be better to get them from the concierge. No AC which is normally fine in Manchester but we didn't expect it to be 30+ degrees. The team did provide fans though which was very thoughtful.

The only reason I won't give it 5 stars is because of the check-in and checkout service. I arrived with so many bags at the place only to be told I'm at the wrong place. Now I need to walk somewhere else to get the key? After all that traveling, the last thing I needed was a treasure hunt whilst dragging my suitcase around Manchester. It's poor. Then to leave I can't just leave the keys there, I have to walk to the place with all my luggage. Before I can finally call an Uber to take me to Piccadilly with my bags. It doesn't make sense.

Clean, and modern but noisy

The apartment was clean and in a modern tower, also the staff was amazing they gave us what we asked for. The apartment filled with all the equipment we needed. and they did return the insurance money immediately.

The apartment located near a train station so it is noisy and since we took the apartment in summer we had to open the windows to get some air as there isn’t air condition just a small fan in each room which does nothing. the other thing is there are a lot of alarms in the apartment and so many rules to follow (contract) which made us a bit uncomfortable.

Fantastic property, great location

It was easy to collect the keys, clear instructions through whatsapp. Limited parking outside the shop, yellow lines surrounding the property so have to be quick to get the keys.

I found it confusing however that the whattsapp message that was sent after collecting the keys then gave us the wrong postcode for the apartments

Underwhelming apartment and service, but in a great location

The apartment fixtures, appliances & bathrooms were of a high standard. The views from the apartment were fantastic and the location is great; within walking distance of shops, gym, restaurants and bars, and trams/trains should you need to travel this way. You are permitted to park for 20 minutes in the loading bay outside the entrance, which was handy. The concierges employed by the building management, were all very friendly and helpful.

The apartment is not really equipped for a stay of longer then a few days - unless you're staying there alone, perhaps. A little thought is needed from Hilltop to make the apartment more comfortable and practical for a longer duration stay. We were provided with only one fob and key, which was inconvenient since we both had different work/activities to attend to - our request for a second set was ignored. Of the eleven coat hangers provided, only four were fit for purpose and we subsequently had to purchase our own rather than live out of our suitcases for the month. The housekeeping team should apparently be notifying Hilltop that the drawer fronts fall off easily, that more coat hangers are needed, and that they don't do a deep clean in between occupants. The poor placement of mirrors (there were no sockets close to them), meant we had to borrow an extension lead in order to use a hairdryer. The table-top ironing board and miniature iron (if the ironing plate wasn't burnt) are okay for the odd garment but we had to move the dining table closer to the kitchen area to use a socket. There was no spare cupboard in the kitchen for 'dry' foods, which meant we had to store pans on the top of the boiler in the hallway cupboard. The car park, whilst 'close by' is neither secure, nor easily accessible - it was a 4 minute walk through a poorly-lit side-street, and then alongside the tramline. This car park is apparently due for closure, which has been delayed for whatever reason, and maybe that's why there was just one lamp-post light working on the car park, for the month we stayed.

Superb

The apartment is 2 bed rooms with living and kitchen. Axis tower is easily accessible with 24 h reciptionest and security. I faced problem to pick the key from Spar market as code of the key was expired, Noone respond to my call but the worker in the Spar office helped us to contact the person and get new code for the key. The owner later helped us to change linen, towels and clean the unit. Apartment is clean comfortable and walking distance to many restaurants, cafe and groceries.

Just the issue if the key which solved already. I got pack my garantee easily (200 £ )after a week. Nothing bad in this apartment
