The gardens and the rooms. Would have loved to see more paths and gardens around the pond :-).

Just need fans.

Very tasty cooked breakfast. Plenty cereals fresh fruit. Tea and coffee.

Every thing was fine.

The history of the buildings and surroundings. The quality and attention to detail in the bedrooms and furnishings.

The access road was a bit of a challenge for our low slung Audi A5 after the recent heavy rainfall.

What a delightful find! We came in late at night and were a little unsure as we drove down the gravel road through trees. We were greeted with a delightful upstairs room in a converted stable. The room was very large, well appointed, wonderful shower, and comfy bed. Clearly the decor had been carefully selected in English country chic, and the room was comfy and warm. Breakfast the next morning was served in the main house and was wonderful. There was plenty to eat with a good variety. Caroline and George, the owners, made us feel very welcome, as did the other guests. There is a beautiful garden outside the main house with lovely places to sit. George also put up flags indicating the countries the guests were from each day, as an added touch. While we only had one night here, we would highly recommend!
