I honestly can’t say I had a dislike about the property

We stayed here at least 2 times and we do enjoy the staff , location and cleanliness of the place but it is extremely loud if you are on the 2 nd floor . We requested being moved to the third floor so hopefully it would be quieter ,we understand it’s a vacation for people but kids were running the halls making noises against the walls . There should be an hour when quiet time should occur , because I think mostly kids running to the game room or down the halls is the big thing . Enforce that somehow and this would be the top vacation destination in pigeon forge , because speaking with staff , they said it’s very common for room switches to be occurring because of noise .
Thanks David Johnson

Rusty at the front desk was so kind and welcoming at check in. Everything was so nice, clean, and laid back!
I have no complaints really. If I could add anything, I would say complimentary breakfasts to be included.

Very clean, hotel staff is wonderful, the beds are comfortable, love the restaurant bar, loved the game room and bowling, out side fire pit roasting marshmallows. I would rather stay here than paying for an expensive cabin just needs private hot tubs in every room lol.
Nothing that I didn’t like, I’ll be staying here again for working festival soon.

Rooms were spacious - like actually huge - and quiet (almost TOO quiet!). The separate 'Kids Camp' area was a HUGE plus and why we booked The Lodge at Camp Margarita - the kids having their own separate area made the entire experience better for the whole family. The fun things on-site were great (though they were about 60% of what they could have been) - the lazy river looked awesome, but didn't seem to be functioning while we were there. The arcade was cool, but could have been more. The Fin City lower area could have used 'something more' but overall, it was great to have! The food on-site is always welcome, and the whole place is dog-friendly which is awesome! We didn't have our dog, but we love dogs.
Technology in the room could use an update - WiFi was good, TV service was good, but no Smart TV/app options. Would have been nice to log into our own Peacock, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, etc. Room was HUGE however.
The restaurant onsite is too expensive. If you're going to be 25-40% higher than other area restaurants, at least give your guests paying to stay there a discount or free margaritas or something. The campfire smores were a nice touch, but I would have liked more in the Fin City lower area like free popcorn or something. As it was, it felt "almost" there - seemed they over-promised and under-delivered. The description makes it sound much more than it is. It's not a Great Wolf Lodge.
About half of the staff was really great and helpful, while the other half didn't seem to understand English and were next to worthless when it came to helping guests. Our experience was paled by a horrible experience at the pool area. We understand what "No Lifeguard on Duty" signs mean, so when our 8-year-old who could barely touch bottom near the small waterslide decided to try the slide, we were nearby. A staff member came out to stand by the slide, so we weren't as on edge. However, she came down and looked in distress, cried out "help!" - my wife yelled to the staff member who was standing mere inches away from her - "I think she needs help!" - the staff member stood there with a blank expression and smile - "help her!" - staff member just smiled - my wife jumped into the pool to help. The staff member only then seemed to realize that there was a problem. Clearly, the staff member wasn't there to pay attention, and likely didn't understanding English. We would have been MUCH more on guard had there not been a staff member that looked like a lifeguard standing right there, inches away. It's better to have no one than to provide a false sense of security.

Room size was great! The small bunk beds were as cute as can be and we will be bringing our grandkids next trip. Loved the shower controls on opposite sides of shower
the elevator key was a pain (but not a deal breaker)
My wife hated the bed pillows (again not a deal breaker)

I loved how big my room was; it helped me not be loud taking a shower in the middle of the night while my family slept. Also, the heated pools were awesome to swim in with a bar nearby.
The cleaning and front desk staff are not that nice or helpful. I asked for a bottle of water for my room, and the cleaning lady wanted to charge me for it when it should have come with my room since it was missing from my fridge. As I was checking out, the front desk lady almost gave me the wrong receipt for my stay and wanted me to pay my $1000 bill, which wasn't even my room. I just didn't feel appreciated or received kindness while I stayed there. The only good thing about the place was my room was clean, but not nice and informative staff. Then asked if I get any rewards for my stay there and they said I don't get any of my benefits staying there since I used a seperate booking, which I think is unfair if I booked to stay there I should get the benefits or rewards for my stay. Its seems they don't care about their guests when it comes to going over the mile for the service and showing appreciation to guest that are staying in the hotel. Hopefully the next time I stay there will be better staff available.

The place was BEAUTIFUL. It was not what I expected, as far as the location. I thought we were starting on Dollywood property. It was nice. My Grandbaby really enjoyed it…..especially the pool! I had asked you all to do something to acknowledge her “5th” birthday….I guess you all couldn’t do that.
Acknowledging my Grand Baby’s 5th Birthday or NOT acknowledging it.

The food was better than average and the amenities were relatively clean
It was under stocked in the store and the heated pool was not turned on even though the night time lows had started dropping.

It's close to everything. It's dog friendly and there's things to do on-site. We've been coming here for years and do really like it.
The shower had some mold in it. The beds are uncomfortable.

Atmosphere & Theme
• The lodge has a laid-back, tropical vibe in the middle of the Smoky Mountains, which makes it feel relaxing and fun.
• The Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville theme gives it a cheerful, vacation-style atmosphere that feels different from a typical mountain lodge.
Location
• It’s right in Pigeon Forge, so you’re close to The Island, Dollywood, restaurants, and attractions.
• The lodge still manages to feel like a retreat even though it’s in the heart of the action.
Comfort & Amenities
• The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy, with balconies that often have great mountain or river views.
• The pool and outdoor lounging areas make it easy to relax between adventures.
• On-site dining and easy access to Margaritaville restaurants mean you don’t always have to drive to eat.
Room Comfort
• Bigger, more supportive pillows – to make the beds feel more luxurious and ensure a good night’s sleep.
• Offering a “pillow menu” with different firmness levels could also improve comfort for all guests.
Amenities & Details
• Some guests note that a few extra in-room touches (like USB charging ports by the bed, or more seating options on balconies) would be helpful.
• Expanding poolside seating could make the outdoor space even more enjoyable during busy times.
Dining & Convenience
• Adding more late-night food or snack options on-site could improve convenience for travelers who stay out enjoying Pigeon Forge.

We loved the staff, they were so kind & helpful. The pool was wonderful for younger children. We took advantage of the outdoor games & had s’mores as an activity. The beds were comfy & the stay was quiet. We can’t wait for our next stay.
My only “complaint” which really isn’t a big deal, is that I wish the pool was a bit deeper for my very tall teenager to enjoy but seriously, it was still 100% worth it.

There were plenty of things to do there! It was clean and staff was friendly. The location is great!
There were a few things not working like the coffee machine at the shop and some arcade games. The bar and restaurant downstairs was never open.

It was extremely warm inside this hotel. Very uncomfortable we couldnt enjoy the indoor amenities because it was too hot which was very disappointing.

Location. Good set up but the cleaning crew wasn’t friendly and the lady at the the lazy river wouldn’t pump up the tubes when there were none but about 15 flat tubes that when asked to pump them up looked at us stupidly like she didn’t understand what we were asking. If your staff doesn’t understand English then you should hire only English speaking people.
Elevators too slow!!!
The lazy river didn’t pump the tubes.
Beds lumpy

Location
The staff was polite and professional
Smelled of wet dog
Internal temperature of the lodge was unbearable
Room, however, was temperature regulated, with a noise, high pitched, in the air conditioning unit that made even a cooled room intolerable, probably even painful for a pet.
The food was terrible, at least the items my wife and I ordered.

I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, several issues negatively impacted our experience:
• Room Cleanliness: Upon arrival, our room was not clean. While housekeeping did clean it once during our stay, they refused on the following days—despite us requesting service and complying with their request to vacate the room for an hour. After doing so, we were told they could no longer clean due to our dog being crated inside the room, even though this was not an issue on the first day.
• Dog Park Conditions: The dog park was poorly maintained, with overgrown grass and no lighting, making it unusable at night.
• Front Desk Service: The front desk staff was consistently rude and dismissive. On top of that, we were given three different sets of pool hours by three different employees, which was both confusing and unprofessional.
• Lack of Resolution: When we brought up the issue with housekeeping, the staff showed no concern and ultimately hung up on me, which was completely unacceptable.
Considering the high price we paid, the quality of the experience fell far below expectations. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and implement changes to ensure future guests have a better experience.

We loved the activities available for kids as well as the pool area that had a slide and was shallow for safety purposes.
I would recommend frosted glass on the glass wall of the shower for privacy if another person needs to go to the bathroom while someone is in the shower.

The activities onsite are wonderful!
Just the loose track randomly at the pool/ not a huge deal
But they need more trash cans around or someone doing walk through hourly

I love the area/location and how big the rooms are.
I didn’t like the fact that we had to pay $10 dollars a day for parking after paying almost $3,000 to stay there. Also we had booked a balcony room so we could sit out on the balcony and relax. We got our room on the first floor and the balcony area had a wall you couldn’t see over if you were seated on the low beach chairs. Plus the air conditioning unit blew hot air out and it couldn’t circulate out and it felt like an oven sitting or standing out there. Suggestion would be to maybe put a higher seating area out there so you can actually sit and see the view instead of a wall. Disappointed in paying extra for a balcony and couldn’t even enjoy it. There was also a lady at the front desk when we checked in who wasn’t very friendly. The hostess at the restaurant was never around to seat you. Had to wait several minutes before she would show up.
