Old Grain Mill

The staff (Nat) was very friendly, kind and helpful and made us feel very welcomed.

It is an incredible building with some excellent features and decorative features that are very distinct (a games room, with snooker table and other activities and a wine cellar and even a sauna). The furnishings are pleasant and attractive but the building would benefit from a refresh.

Natalia was the ideal host. She made us feel very welcome and is an asset to this complex

No cooking facilities. It is starting to look a little tired.

5 levels of an impressive amount of space with everything you need. Enters into a massive living room with a bedroom with two beds then 5 ensuite rooms upstairs (4 showers and a tub) plus the cinema room. The separately bookable king suite is above with its own entrance up. from the outside. Below the entrance level is the dining room for 14 and kitchen that goes out to a patio with a fire pit, pizza oven, barbecue, and chairs - plus a wee path approaching the river below. There's also a TV room and another ensuite shower with a single and a double bed on either side. Under this floor are 2 pool tables for kids/adults, darts, games, and seating plus a library. A cool cellar sits below with bits from the old grain mill. Toilet on every floor. Manager Nat is reachable and responsive via Whatsapp -15-min to walk into town with cafes, a supermarket, and the beach.

Bedrooms very hot even when it's cool out but not too bad with the window open and fans provided, but bats can get in. Flickering lights in some places and spots that might be due for a bit of care. Stairs are quite steep.

The building is interesting, the decor is very good. The rooms are large.The showers are very good. Beds are comortable.

This accommodation does not seem to be properly set up for guests. There are no instructions about how to use anything, most venues have some sort of information folder. The fridge seems to be broken, the waste bin lid is broken and won't close. Tiny wash basin in the shower room is virtually useless. Electrical sockets in the shower room, which I believe is against regulations.
